This RC car looked like so much fun. So much better than the ones my brothers had when we were kids. Here’s what I like: - This remote control truck/tank looks just as expected from the listing and photos. - It’s packaged nicely, but still easy to remove from the box. - It comes with an extra chargeable battery for the vehicle itself. - It can be controlled by either your typical handheld or a wristlet. - It runs super well and is easy to control, unlike a lot of RC vehicles. It runs well on any surface, including carpet and grass. - It can be filled with water at the top, or suck water up itself if placed in water. - The lights are fun and quite bright. - Despite being small, it has some weight to it. It’s pretty heavy-duty feeling. Here’s what I’m neutral about: - Although the vehicle takes chargeable batteries, the controllers do not (which is not listed). The handheld needs two AAs and the wristlet uses two AAAs. - The vehicle needs to be paired with whichever controller you use, so it has to be paired again if you switch. It does so pretty seamlessly though. - Although this RC truck is considered amphibious, I don’t see any gaskets or means to keep it water-tight. Having it run through water, and of course shoot water, is fun, but I wouldn’t submerge it. I also think it’s best to empty it out and let it dry if it’s not going to be used for a while. - I also wouldn’t submerge the controllers. I think the wristlet might be okay, but the handheld looks a little flimsy, and again, not water-tight. Here’s what I don’t like: - N/A. Overall I love this remote-control vehicle. It’s super fun, runs great, can go just about anywhere, can shoot water no problem, and spins on a dime. I really can’t imagine a better RC truck. Read more

I wish I had gotten a video of this thing squirting my son while he was on his tablet as he's very serious. The surprised and bewildered look on his face was priceless because it doesn't make any sense at all for water to be near the spot where he was sitting. it was one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed. I got my daughter as well while she was watching TV, and then my wife when she came home that night. It was a wet welcome of which she was not amused, but it amused the heck out of me so it was OK. I did allow them all to squirt me in return. The water gun can also work continuously if you are driving the vehicle through water that is deep enough to reach the belly of the beast. If you unplug the water intake hole on the bottom next to the battery compartment, the car can then suck in whatever water it needs to blast it out in the direction you choose. Each of the wheels has a set of fins jutting out from the side that gives the vehicle the ability to move through water if it's not getting enough friction from the ground due to water depth. It's a super awesome hybrid R/C car, but the squirting mechanism and amphibianism (amphibianicity? amphibiousness?) aren't the only features that make it so. One feature that I HIGHLY appreciate is that the vehicle has a charging port on the back top of it so that the battery can be charged without having to unscrew the compartment panel and remove it from the bottom. This definitely helps to extend the life of both the waterproofing mechanism around that panel and the screws that are used to keep it attached. Make sure you keep the small silicone stopper in the charging port, however, when it's not charging, so that water is sealed from getting into the port while you're getting wet and wild. This model also came with a wearable remote control that you can wear on your wrist like a watch. It's a great way to free up a hand to control the water cannon while you use the hand wearing the watch to control the car using gestures simultaneously. It isn't perfect, but I haven't met a gesture controller for an R/C car that is, and I've tried quite a few at this point. Another neat feature is how you're able to control the spinning of the car based on how you use the directional joysticks. If you use the side-to-side joystick by itself, the car spins very quickly in place if you need to make an abrupt retreat, however, if you use the side-to-side joystick along with the up-and-down joystick the car will turn like you would expect a normal R/C car to turn. I'm a huge fan of this extra option to pivot in-place. The instruction manual is very clear, concise and complete. It doesn't leave anything out that I can think of. The extra battery is always a welcome bonus, and the battery itself provides the car with plenty of power. The screwdriver that came with my car was never finished or was just defective, but it was easy enough to use one of the many others we have here. Overall, I think this amphibious R/C car is not only very well engineered, but is also made with quality top-of-mind. For ~$40-$50, it's well worth the buy. It's an exciting vehicle to drive and play with and my kids wholeheartedly agree. As with any R/C car, make sure you remove the batteries from both the vehicle and the remote controls if you are done using it for a while. You'll thank yourself later when you go back and play with it again. Read more

This amphibious RC truck is a total blast and perfect for kids who love high-energy toys. The fact that it actually drives in the water and includes a built-in water gun makes it way more exciting than a standard remote control car. The Highlights: Water & Land: It handles pools, puddles, and grass like a pro without any issues. Cool Controls: The gesture-sensing feature is a really neat touch that kids find super impressive. Stunt Ready: It’s fast, flips easily, and is durable enough to survive some rough play. Verdict: If you need a 'wow' gift for an 8–12-year-old, this is it! It’s unique, rugged, and provides hours of fun. Read more
Unfortunately I don't have pictures or video, but I gave this to my 10 year old nephew for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! His mom says it rides all over the place - carpet, linoleum, and outdoors on the grass. It shoots water very far and has shot her as well! He's had a great time with it and he's had no problems with it at all! It was a great buy! Read more
