My girlfriend loved them! I bought these for her cause she loves chicken based sausages and also loves Gouda and caramelized onions. We’ve repurchased multiple times, I’m not a fan of chicken based sausages/burgers but these smell so good when I make them for her that I might even try them next time I make them for dinner! These are some of the best frozen chicken burgers I have tried. The combination of caramelized onion and gouda is delicious and they stay quite juicy after cooking. I love that they use natural ingredients and offer 18g of protein per serving. They are very easy to prepare for a quick, healthy lunch and have a much better flavor profile than your standard plain chicken patty. Read more
I throw these on the grill & give them a little char on the top. Then I chop them up and make lettuce wraps with them. I add some purple cabbage, peeled carrot, & a bit of Dumpling Daughter Spicy Sweet Soy sauce. (Not much. Just a bit.) With a side of miso soup or other savory broth this is a filling, easy dinner for me. The reviews aren't wrong: the consistency is a tad strange. But the grilling helps. These burgers are tasty but the texture leaves much to be desired. I tried both flavors. Both times I purchased these I preheated them in the microwave and browned them in the frying pan. The consistency was wet and squishy even after preheating and pan searing the patties. They just didn't dry out. They stayed wet and gluey and got the burger buns all soggy which was a mess to eat. Needless to say the texture wasn't pleasant on the palate either - despite the agreeable flavor profile. These could easily be a 5 star product if the company could figure out a way to mitigate the excessive amount of moisture in these patties which makes their consistency unpalatable in my opinion.
