I have quite a few AH products since they’re USA made. The downside is, it’s heavy and will be heavier when filled so if you’re frail, or have arthritis, you may want to think about the weight. But it’s solid, has good depth and will come in handy. Read more

I bake a lot, and this bowl has become my go‑to for mixing doughs and batters. The 2‑quart size is ideal for small to medium recipes, and the spout makes pouring so much cleaner. The lid is great for storing leftovers or letting dough rest. Highly recommend for any home baker. Read more

I plan to use these for proofing/rising my dough. I love that they came with lids that seem fairly airtight. They’re sturdy. Amazon shipped them without padding and they arrived in perfect condition, which says something about how well they’re made. They’re 2 quarts, which is exactly what you want for 4 cups of flour recipes. Rising your dough in glass (for challah) is one of the preferred materials. They’re versatile. I can use these for measuring out other liquids when cooking and baking. The glass is stable and can be used in the heat. They fit my needs perfectly and should for most bakers because of what recipes call for… they make baking so much easier. I love the stability of Anchor Hocking glass. There isn’t anything that holds up as well. I worried about the heaviness of them, but they’re not too heavy. The handle is so comfortable. I have measuring glasses from another popular company, so these are my first by Anchor Hocking and they’re much more comfortable. I also like that the numbers are embossed on the glass, instead of printed in red. It seems easier to read, which is not what I’d expect. They fit in my fridge so much easier than my metal mixing bowls. I’m so happy I got them To sum up... Pros: easy to read, solid glass that won’t break even in shipping, comes with lids, good for proofing/rising dough, perfect for 4 cup flour recipes, comfortable handle, not too heavy, good size for the fridge Cons: lids aren’t perfectly airtight, but that is common with glass containers Read more

I love this glass mixing bowl for the sole purpose that it doesn't have painted on lines that fade immediately. I think this bowl is super durable and great size. The measuring markings are very easy to read and should last a lifetime at this rate since the markings can't be wiped off. The lid is a nice touch and has come in handy a few times for me. The lid seems to seal well. Read more
