The media could not be loaded. I had been casually teasing the need to buy a spare car mount for my phone for some time now. I want to use it to watch movies, listen to raunchy podcasts, doom scroll social media and pretend-read books while waiting in the passenger seat. I finally pulled the trigger on this mount and so glad that I did. There are a plethora of car mount products out there so it's hard to discern what actually works well and what is mostly marketing. I specifically wanted a mount that didn't block my air vents, and was pleasantly surprised that Andobil released this new mount recently. I already own and actively use another product of theirs, the magnetic phone grip ring holder, so I had a strong inclination that the quality would be equally superb. Unsurprisingly, this mount is amazing. Admittedly, I was a tad skeptical if the base would be secure enough as I have had bad experiences with suction mount systems in the past. Often times, the suction performs poorly under cold or hot temperatures. For reference, I use a naked iPhone 15 Pro Max with no case - yes I am that guy lol. These fears were quickly alleviated after I installed the mount on a cold frigid day ~25F NYC. I ran some controlled stress tests where I set my phone in varying positions and angles while driving, to check if it would fall. I had my hands ready in case of any slight chance of a drop, but this mount exceeded my expectations. I even tested the mount on some indoor tiled walls (bathroom). It just sticks! The mounting base system uses a combination of a strong suction cup + adhesive surface pad. The 3-step setup is simple; you wipe the dashboard spot clean, stick the base, and lock it tight by turning the base. You can readily change your phone position and viewing angle by adjusting the magnet arm. Just be sure to detach your phone before doing so. In terms of aesthetics and quality, this mount has a clean, sleek and minimalist design. I can tell that every part is well machined and thoughtfully considered. The hinges and discrete parts are sturdy and move cohesively together. The Magnet is super strong and rigid just like the ring holder. The mount has a good weight to it; it doesn't feel flimsy or plasticky. The durability of the reusable mounting base is yet to be determined over the long haul, but so far it has held up very well. I can wholeheartedly recommend this mount; it is exceptional value and I would gladly mount my naked phone on it without question or fear of it dropping. I am VERY pleased with the new magnetic holder. The new style attachment to the car/dashboard appears very secure as does the magnetic holder. The flexibility of the arm and the rotation of the turret are excellent. The only change I would recommend is a more secure resistance to rotation, both at the base and under the magnet, to reduce accidental movement. The only downside for me (a minor inconvenience) is that, In my vehicle (2022 Acura MDX Advanced) the only viable mounting option is in front of the screen above the console. This means the base partially obscures the extreme lower left of the screen. Overall, I would still give this item a score of at least 4.75 to 5! Read more

This mount has actually impressed me. I’m used to magnet mount normally not being strong enough to hold the weight of my phone as I drive 18 wheelers. This however has very strong magnets. The extendable arm is also very strong and holds my iPhone 17 just fine when extended. I highly recommend this product. Read more

I received the item and was very pleased with the packaging as there was no damage on the outside. easy to install in my wife's vehicle and securely attached to the dash with great instructions. I have bought the vent version of this prior and still has the same amount of grip on the phone (i-phone 15 pro max). The only down side is that with that size of phone the arm does not extend enough to allow the phone to be charged with a usb cord, bottoms out on the dash. phone is still securely attached to the mount and no amount of bouncing in the vehicle allows it to move. all in all a great product and would buy again. I had to gift this for my mom for Xmas and it's really useful for my mom to use on her car dashboard and it's really stick on very well and magnet are very strong. She love it. And would recommend anyone who need that for convenience! Read more
