I ordered this holder and the round one for my iPhone 17 pro max with an otterbox defender pro XT case. This one holds the phone very well but it moves around somewhat at the pivot ball that has no way to tighten it. The round one has a nut you can tighten and it stays very solid. I mounted this one in my 2020 Ford F-250 vent and it holds there very well. Read more

Good quality phone holder for the car. Hold the phone steady. Strong magnet for use with my magsafe case. It does block the airflow but any of this style will do that so not really a complaint. It would be easy to take off and put back on if you only need it for longer occasional trips. Read more

So far it’s been working really well. I have an IPhone 13 Pro and it’s a pretty wide phone. This mount is perfect. Just don’t forget to put the magnet in the back of your cover. It does stay put. I ordered one of these to be delivered the next day. Once it arrived, I realized this is exactly what I've been trying to find, a vent mount strong enough to hold my phone in place when I'm driving. I ordered another one for my wife and she's also very happy with the product. Note that we both have MagSafe cases and this is designed to work with those, and trust me, it holds the phones securely in place. However, it does not work with non-MagSafe cases right out of the box. It does include magnets you can attach to a case that allow non-MagSafe cases to work with the mount. Read more
