First of all, wow! What a fruity flavor! I've tried pre/post workout powders before, but this was my first time trying creatine. I did my research and made sure to eat well and stay hydrated before taking this. I just add a full scoop to 10-12 oz. of water, give a shake for 10-15 seconds, and the powder is fully dissolved. Easy to drink. No gritty residue. No weird, artificial sweetener taste. After an hour of taking, I get right into my strength training. I like that I have a little more energy to power through without feeling fatigued. After using using this a few times, I noticed muscle soreness doesn't last as long and am able to continue throughout the day to do regular household activities, without feeling exhausted. I have a much smaller, petite frame and I didn’t just want a creatine that made me hyper. This is great, I got the dragonfruit flavor and it’s very sweet almost bubble gum flavor but not intense, I’ve had it with water but it does say you can put it with your beverage of choice. I have been taking this for about a week and a half now and first I have to say it is soooo delicious! I really look forward to drinking it in the mornings before my workouts. I have noticed it has helped with my muscle recovery as I am only sore about 8hrs after a workout and only for about 10-12 hours where I used to be sore for almost a day and a half! So far I’m really enjoying the Animal Creatine HMB Powder. I felt like immediately after starting to use it I could feel the difference in my workouts. I’m also not feeling as sore as I was feeling prior. The only thing I question is the price. Is it worth $50 every month? I don’t have that answer yet. I want to finish the product and go for there. Usually, I don't like using powder supplements because they are chalky tasting but this stuff isn't. I load trucks all day so I'm usually pretty sore by the end of the day. I've been drinking this and I have noticed a significant change. I stay hydrated and have plenty of energy to keep me moving during the 10 hour work day. The container was expensive for how little servings came in it and the taste was just ok. I just mixed mine with water but I found myself adding more than the serving size said to finish one scoop. I thought this would be a nice break from unflavored creatine but I personally don't think I'll buy it again. Read more
I have been taking creatine for over a year now by itself and would have to add the salt to replenish the electrolytes so I was excited to try this Animal Creatine HMB+ which conveniently has the electrolytes combined with the creatine plus the added HMB+ .
