I put off trying this product after I purchased it because I was honestly afraid I wouldn't like the taste. I LOVE coffee, and I wasn’t about to ruin it! First off, it passed the smell test, because I couldn’t smell anything. (I’m not sure what people are smelling when they say it smells awful. I have a very sensitive nose, and smell nothing.) I finally brought myself to try it, and was expecting a difficult time getting it to dissolve. However, I put a scoop in my hot coffee and with a little mixing, it all dissolved fine. As it turns out, I didn’t taste a thing - it didn’t change the taste of my beloved coffee at all. I’m so happy I found this and look forward to the results it will give me with my arthritis. This is one of the best multi collagen powders I have tried and I have tried almost all of them. Price wise and quality, You can't beat this one. Experienced joint relief and general achey relief within a week. Mix this in with black coffee in the AM and cannot taste it at all. I generally put half a scoop in my morning cup of coffee and than add hot coffee...no mixing..just let it sit for 30 seconds. I have not had to take it more through out the day. I was experiencing joint pain and it is gone. Skin seems to be less dry. Haven't noticed a big difference in wrinkles yet..so 4 stars instead of 5. I have only been using for about 3 weeks so will update if I notice a difference with that. Read more
I like this protein powder because it has the five types of collagen. It also dissolves instantly in hot coffee. You almost don’t have to stir it. It just disappears. There is almost no flavor, but there is a very slight one. I’ve tried many others and so far, as far as dissolvability goes and flavorless this is one of the best. The price isn’t bad either. My nails are super strong and grow quickly. So hopefully it’s doing what it’s supposed to. Read more
Amazon says I have purchased this product 11 times. There were times when it was not available, and I had to buy other. Happened a few times, and for months each time, but I still came back. It works, and you can tell by how fast hair grown and fingernails. Must be helping elsewhere proportionally where I cannot see it, like ligaments and tendons and skin structure. But it has almost doubled in price, instantly. I find Horbach multi collagen pretty good but at quarter the price. I will see how this new improved version works, but I might not be able to afford it anymore. Read more
Im loving this product . I have terrible terrible knees from playing soccer in my youth and now that im a mom of 2 ive gain a bit of weight so my knees take the toll. I am a pharmacy tech so my shifts are actually really long 9+ hours .since ive been taking this my knees havent quite hurt as much ...i used to have to deal with swelling and extreme pain and now i can handle the bending a standing a bit more. I've been taking in for maybe about 3 weeks and i definitely feel the improvement. The powder is easy to mix and i tend to drink it in my teas and orange juice in the mornings . It has absolutely no taste sometimes it doesnt mix well with ice cold drinks but hey its better in my opinion than swallowing a horse pill ..this stuff is amazing and ive already recommended it to my mother in law . Very good product. I especially like the Collagen Type II and X. These are beneficial for arthritic knees. But since it also has type I, III, V it helps the skin as well. To help the powder mix with a fruit type drink, I also mix in some MiraLax. Since this is a type of polyethelene, it acts as an Emulsifier. Just like Polysorbate 20 or 80, known as emulsifiers, to help oils mix with water. Polysorbate 20/80 have polyethelene properties. It takes a long time to feel any differences after starting Collagen. Several weeks at least, so at this point I can't say if it's helping the arthritis in knees. Read more
I got this for the 2-n-1, creatine and collagen. This product is the first collagen I have tried. The product is unflavored but I found that there is a moderate “fish” taste for me. I first tried water which is NOT recommended. I tried mixing with juice which was consumable but still had a mild fish flavor that I just am not a fan of. Also, the powder clumps and does not mix well. However, I have since read that mixing with warm liquids is better than cold. I can’t provide a review for the actual results as it takes time for it to work. I only used this for about a week before deciding to find another product due to the fishy taste.
