This brush is perfect for its labeled use. I often mix and match my brushes, but this works so well for powder blush that I’ve reserved it for this use. The handle feels nice in my hand and the bristles seem very durable. Read more

Impressions: -This is a very good quality, larger sized, synthetic blush brush that works very well for applying blush in a controlled, natural looking, diffused application that is buildable and not over applied. Pros: -Very high quality brush. It looks, feels and performs like a high end brush. -Very soft and dense bristles. -Made for applying blush. -The size and shape is a bit larger and looks and feels like a powder brush in shape and size. It’s wide across but medium in width. It almost has an oval shape with rounded edges when looking at the top of the bristles. -However, even with the larger size it still works very well as a blush brush. It doesn’t apply too wide of an area, even for those of us such as myself with smaller faces. -It applies a diffused, natural, buildable blush look that isn’t harsh and looks blended. It’s a very easy to work with brush even with pigmented blushes and products. -Works well for blush application. -Would work well as a general face powder brush as well, but would be a bit large for under-eye setting powder. -Would work well for highlighter. -Would also work well for bronzer or contour. -Sturdy brush handle and ferrule. -Good feel in the hand during use, easy to hold. -Would fit in a brush roll (not included) as the handle isn’t too large to fit. -Attractive dark purple toned handle with a silver band with the logo. -Has the name of the brush and brush style printed subtly but nicely on the brush. -Can be used with powders, creams and liquids. -Synthetic bristles are vegan and cruelty free. -Has no odor or scent to it. Cons: -No issues. Tips: -Note that it’s a larger size and style of a blush brush. It’s larger than I thought it would be in person vs the pictures. Normally as a person with a smaller face I prefer smaller blush brushes for a more focal application. But this one is one of the larger brushes that still gives a focal application even on smaller faces that isn’t too wide. It looks a lot like a face powder brush in the shape, style and size, but it does work well for blush. -How you hold and angle the brush will change the application a bit. Both ways are still diffused and natural looking. If you want a slightly narrower and a little denser, heavier application use the brush with the width of the brush not going across but up and down your cheek. If you want a slightly wider and slightly lighter application, use the brush with the width of the brush going across your cheek. -I did find that because it was so diffuse and buildable in the application that I did have to dip in the blush pan several times to build up the application. I don’t normally have to do this with the blush I tested it with, but it was easy to get a light but buildable application. -If you are fairer or struggle with pigmented blushes or over-applying blush, this is going to be a brush you’ll enjoy as it makes it easier to get a buildable, natural, diffused application. But you may have to on some blushes re-dip in the blush pan to build application with this brush vs some other brushes. As someone who is very fair and who struggles with getting a natural blush look, I appreciated that the brush did allow buildabilty and a natural application. -It is a wide, large blush brush, so it may not fit in smaller blush pans or palettes. -It would work well for overall face powder application, but is a bit large for under-eye setting powder. -It would work well for a natural highlighter application that’s diffused. -It would also work well for a diffused natural looking bronzer or contour application. -Be careful when opening it and getting it out for the first time, it comes in a softer style cardboard paper style pouch. Open it from the base vs top and don’t use scissors at the base or top so you won’t accidentally harm the brush. -When you wash the brush, I’d suggest using a gentle face wash (I usually use Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser) and be sure to tilt it downward during rinsing and washing to not get as much water into the base of the bristles and brush ferrule. I would never want to submerse or leave a brush in water. I like to take a clean hand towel folded up and set it on a clean dinner plate and dry my brushes that way. I remove the towel after about a half hour so my brushes aren’t sitting on anything damp, and let them air dry on the plate. Thoughts: -If you like the denser style brushes, you’ll like this brush. -Note that no brush holder, brush cup or brush guard comes with it. Read more

I have a small face and the brush is a bit large for me. Nonetheless, I've been testing it nonstop and concluded that is best used for a light airbrushed like finish, specially good with luminous blushes. I love ANISA brushes's quality, I have the rest of the face brushes and this is the same quality as ever! Read more

I love this makeup brush! This brush is so soft, and it seamlessly blends my bronzer and blush into my skin. It doesn't leave any streaks and it feels completely luxe. I have used it for quite a while and I haven't had any issues with the bristles falling out, and it still maintains it shape well after cleaning. I absolutely recommend! Read more

I’ve never heard of this brand before, but I’m always on the hunt for new makeup brushes. I’ve now tried a few of their brushes, and I have to say that this is probably my favorite. I think it’s really versatile and that it could be used for both creams and powders, depending on what you prefer. I think it’s great to be used for blush, a setting powder, or for powder/cream contour. Basically, there’s a lot that you can do with it! It’s definitely a quality brush, and you can feel that as soon as you open the package. The bristles are really soft and fluffy. So far, I haven’t experienced any fallout, but I also think it’s more telling after a few more washes. So, I’ll update the review if I encounter any. Overall, I’m pretty happy with this one! It is definitely on the pricier side for makeup brushes, so just something to keep in mind if you want buy a collection from this company. Read more

It took about a month for me to receive this brush but it is fantastic. It isn't the softest brush in the world but it applies powder blush so perfectly. I also used it for highlighter and bronzer in a pinch (hence the multiuse). It's the fact that it picks up so much powder in one sweep and then deposits it exactly where you want it. And definitely no patchiness here, just perfection. I love it. $32 is a lot for a blush brush but there is no denying it is fantastic. It is definitely a powder brush. It is too big for creme and it is not meant for creme so I don't know how it would handle but considering it's size, I have no desire to find out. I had never heard of Anisa. It it is a luxury brand without a doubt so it is up to you to decide if you want to buy it. I usually take off a star for expensive items that have suitable counterparts at the drugstore but this one is so fantastic, it gets five stars. Buy it! Read more

This multi-powder blush brush from Anisa Beauty has a very high quality handle and an aesthetically high-end design. The brush hairs are very soft. However, I was disappointed to find the quality of the brush head to be lacking. It's not nearly as dense or fluffy as the brush depicted in the product page pictures. The one I received is also very dingey-looking and is irregularly dyed on top. Even if it were exactly as shown in the product page images, it would still not be worth $32 for what it is. Because of the poor brush head quality, I can't recommend it to others. I hope you have found my unbiased review and photos of this product helpful. Read more

This is a dense brush that is great for depositing color, especially blush and bronzer. The shape is ideal for that as well, but you may want to follow with a fluffy brush to blend out your products. My only complaint is that the handle of the brush is a little bulky, although quite pretty, making it slightly more difficult than other brushes to manipulate. Overall, a beautiful, high quality brush. Read more
