Been using this brush for finishing powders. Works beautiful and feel like great quality. Read more
Yes! This is unlike other highlight brushes because of the rounding of the bristles. They are feathered out so the sides are flat but the tip is round and fluffy. I don’t use it for highlighting but I use it for blush. It works perfectly for me tapping the blush in the designated place using the sides and then using the rounded tip to buff and spread it out. My makeup doesn’t get lost in the depths of the bristles but sits on top gently. I apply the blush to my hand and then work it into my brush. This holds it perfectly and then transfer it to my skin easily. The handle has a defined line or separation in the handle which makes it easy to grip and hold. I use the lip from the separation as a great focus point of where to grip to not apply too much pressure but also not to have a wobbly brush. I almost want another one just to use for contouring because again it’s outer bristles go flat if needed to lay the makeup on and then the tip is good for buffing or blending. Read more
I like this lightweight brush. A lot of my other brushes have wood handles so this is a change for me. I think the weight makes it great for travel. And it should be easier to clean as well. I don’t have to worry about wood swell loosening bristles. On this brush there weren’t any loose or stray bristles. The sloped sides of the brush head is great for blush placement but I prefer a stiffer smaller brush head for highlight placement; then I go in with this brush to blend. Read more

This highlighter brush impressed me very much! This was my first brush from Anisa Beauty, and I also ordered the contour brush. I like them both so much I plan to complete upgrading my brush set with more brushes from this brand. They are pretty, very soft, and they don’t shed at all! Highly recommended! Read more
I got the Anisa Beauty Tapered Highlight Makeup Brush, which currently retails for $30 before tax. Right away, I noticed that the brush isn’t as pictured. The head is more round than tapered, so if you don’t want to end up looking like a Cullen from Twilight, I’d recommend using it for powder blushes or bronzers... it's definitely NOT for powdered highlighter. As for quality, it’s just OK. The brush fibers are soft but nothing exceptional. Honestly, my drugstore brushes (Morphe, Real Techniques, Colourpop and even EcoTools) feel much softer. The handle is also lightweight, which might be a pro or con depending on your preference. Personally, I like heavier handles since I store my brushes upright, and lighter ones don’t hold up well in my brush storage box. Overall, I don’t think this brush is worth $30 when you can find comparable or better options from other brands for much less. Read more

This brush is beautiful, right out of the package. I have a number of higher-end brushes that have lasted me for many years-- they look almost new. I compared this brush to those that I have, that have cost upwards of twice as much. This brush stands right up with them. The bristles are beautifully soft without being loose or wayward. They pick up the highlighter without effort, and did an excellent job of smoothing it on my face. No clumping. I washed this brush after a few uses to see how it stands up. I used baby shampoo and air dried the brush. It washed without problem-- no bristles were shed. Dried beautifully and with a little pouf of my hand, it was back into brand-new shape. I love this brush and highly recommend it Read more
