I found this mouse to be very comfortable and easy to use for long hours at the computer. I'm 6'3 and have pretty big hands, and it was a nice size and weight, especially with the batteries in place to make it feel a little heavier. The button clicks are nice and snappy, and it seems like a great mouse for the price. The only frustration that I ran into is that since I primarily use 3D modeling apps, I have to click and hold the middle mouse button a lot for viewport navigation, but the middle button placed just a tiny bit too low and I have to skew my index finger trying to reach it until it became pretty uncomfortable. But that's a very specific use, and I'd definitely still give this mouse 5 stars as a great performer for normal use, and even for using the middle button as a typical scroll wheel. Read more

I have had several of these mice, one for every computer I have used in tha last bunch of years. They fit your hand perfectly, and they are smooth and easy to handle. Comfortable like you wouldn't imagine. I had a spare, and now I have another spare. They do not fare well if you keep dropping them on a tile floor. After a couple of hundred times, the wheel doens't want to work quite right. But they have always given the best of service other than that. They used to be quite a lot cheaper, but it didn't matter, I bought a new one anyway without even thinking about the price, but in how useful this mouse is. They must actually cost only a few cents a month to use at most!! I couldn't recommend this one more. Read more

I got this mouse because I wanted to try an ergonomic office mouse to relieve pressure on my wrists, and I will say that it has decreased the fatigue of long usage sessions. Overall, a decent mouse for the money, but not perfect either. It is pretty ligthweight, so it is easy to move around, but beware that the sharp edges on the glide pads at the bottom of the mouse dig into a fabric surface like a mousepad, decreasing the speed of movement, as well as increasing wear on the mousepad. It is comfortable in the hand, and all buttons are accessible, but rarely in the way, preempting misinputs. The fact that it is wireless is a huge plus, although I will say that being wireless, this mouse suffers in responsiveness, especially at high mouse sensitivity settings. That will make fine movements, like highlighting text, a challenge as it will jump from one spot to another. This can be very frustrating for office work. The DPI's are more or less in the advertised range. After rigorous and meticulous testing, I have found the mouse to be capable of ~750, ~1240, and ~1500 DPI on the respective settings. If you are okay with having a wired mouse and need high sensitivity I would strongly recommend getting the wired version of this mouse instead, the AK-98ANWVM-BA. But if you require a wireless setup and prefer lower mouse sensitivity, this mouse will be more than adequate. Just make sure not to use the highest DPI setting, as that will increase sensitivity by a huge margin. Overall, Anker has once again made an affordable, yet adequate product. Read more

I love this mouse so much that I have four of them. Three in my home, and one that I have sent to work with my wife, who had developed painful carpal tunnel symptoms. After much convincing, and many nights of wrist braces and crying, she now uses it exclusively. Although her carpal tunnel has not gone away, she no longer has the pain and has put the wrist brace away. I have had surgery on both my hands for the condition. In both my case, and that of my wife it was directly related to the repetitive motion of working with a computer. I guess we're slow to learn. Using this vertical mouse from Anker has made a world of difference to me. Nobody ever mentioned that carpal tunnel can return... even after surgery. I promise you that this vertical mouse is far more comfortable, and far more effective at preventing these symptoms than any expensive "ergonomic" traditional mouse out there. I've owned (and worked with) them all. This is the one. It's funny, but my wife's co-workers hate the vertical mouse she has, and they refuse to work with it. Makes me chuckle. They'll find out. This is the second mouse I've had. My last one lasted 5 years and would have continued to use it IF I didn't lose the wireless USB thing (Anker doesn't replace those). This one started having trouble about 2.5 months in (3 month warranty). Other than that, mouse is a perfect size, comfortable, easy to use and setup. BUT it seems like the latest version of the product is engineered to fail at the 3 month mark. I'd recommend you put your money towards a different product as you will likely end up paying for a high-quality mouse anyway (from a reputable brand) as this mouse will likely die anyway. As a separate note (unrelated to my review on the faulty item): messaged the company to find out what I could do: - I sent the order number, they said they could send a replacement - Followed all support steps - Then was told the warranty just expired and they wouldn't help. (Contradicting their comments confirming the order number which allowed them to view such details.) - Asked for clarification, company stopped responding. - Lesson: If your product breaks, Anker may not help you.
