I originally bought a cheaper cable for my Apple CarPlay setup, but I kept getting random disconnects that drove me crazy. I decided to try the Anker Car CarPlay Cable and the difference is night and day. This cable feels high-quality right out of the box. It’s soft and pliable, not stiff like other cables, which makes it perfect for use in the car—especially if your CarPlay port is in an awkward spot. Since switching to this cable, my CarPlay has been rock-solid with zero dropouts. I also appreciate the included cable-management rubber clip, which keeps things neat and prevents tangles. If you’re dealing with CarPlay disconnects or just want a reliable, well-made cable, I highly recommend this one. Totally worth it. Read more

I love this cable. It is a high quality cable that works perfectly in my vehicle to connect my iPhone 16 to my Apple CarPlay in my car, which has a USB-A connector. Even the color is so much better than the bright white of Apple cables. It is very flexible (not stiff like Apple OEM cables) and has a cable strap to loop any extra length, although the length is pretty good, as is. All in all, this is the perfect cable to connect recent iPhones to USB-A CarPlay vehicles. All of my CarPlay apps (Maps, Pandora, Messages, Phones calls, etc.) work well through this cable. Read more

I’m VERY happy with this charging cable. It’s super flexible and built very well. I personally use it in my vehicle with CarPlay and it works great with ZERO issues. It snaps into the port on my iPhone 16 with no issues. I ordered a Belkin CarPlay cable that Apple endorses and it was absolute garbage. The belkin cable would just fall out of my charging port and if you moved the cable in the port just the slightest bit it would disconnect. I can barely wiggle this anker cable and it never disconnects and it has great action when I’m connected to your phone. I recommend this cable over anything! I’ve always had pretty good luck with anker! Read more

This worked spectacularly in my 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5. I get constant CarPlay connection for my commute to the office using my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Tried a few other cables and they didn't work out as well. Can always count on Anker to create a good value cable for a decent price. Read more

Great cable for a vehicle. I had to replace my alpine ilx650 usb input cable because it couldn’t handle the data rate. This was a perfect fit for me and seems like a nice, quality cable with great flexibility. My in dash nav finally works again🙏 Read more

Love this cord! I went back and forth on buying this cable or buying a cheaper equivalent. I know Anker is a great brand, but I really wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend the extra money on it. In the end, I decided to splurge the extra couple of dollars since I got a new phone and wanted quality assurance for the cord in my car. The build quality is great (as expected for Anker). A happy surprise was that this cable is much more flexible than the average cord. I didn’t really realize how useful that would be in a car situation. Plus, the flexibility really gives the impression that the cable will last longer and won’t fray as quickly. The color is a pretty purple. CarPlay connection works well! Great value, and I’d definitely buy it again! Read more

If you’ve ever had your GPS cut out in the middle of a turn because your cheap charging cable wiggled loose, you know why a high-quality cord is essential for the car. I bought this Anker Upcycled Braided USB-A to USB-C cable specifically for my iPhone 16/17 and CarPlay setup, and it’s been flawless. The Breakdown: Rock-Solid CarPlay Connectivity: Many USB-C cables are great for charging but terrible for data transfer in a car environment. This Anker cable provides a stable, high-speed data link. I haven't experienced a single "Communication Error" or lag since switching to this. The "3-Foot" Sweet Spot: This is the ideal length for a car. It’s long enough to let you pick up your phone to change a song at a red light, but short enough that you don't have two feet of extra cable tangled around your gear shifter or cup holders. Upcycled Braiding: The texture of this cable is excellent. It’s a "bio-braided" nylon that feels premium and, more importantly, is resistant to the heat of a car interior. It doesn't get stiff in the winter or "sticky" in the summer. Compatibility: Even though I use it for my iPhone, it works perfectly for fast-charging my Samsung Note20 and other USB-C devices. It’s a great "universal" cord to have in the passenger seat. Pros: Reinforced Stress Points: The neck of the cable (where it usually frays) is reinforced with a thick rubber housing. It feels like it can handle being bent 90 degrees in a tight center console storage bin. Clean Aesthetic: The White color looks sharp and is easy to find in a dark car interior at night. Tangle-Free: The braiding is stiff enough that it doesn't knot up on itself, even if you throw it in the glovebox. Cons: USB-A to USB-C: Make sure your car actually has a USB-A (the classic rectangular) port. Many newer 2024/2025 vehicles are moving to USB-C ports only. If your car is newer, you might need the USB-C to USB-C version. White Shows Dirt: While the white looks great, if you're eating fries or have dirty hands from work, the braided fabric will eventually show some smudges. Read more
