This is a really nice, good quality skirt by Anrabess and I got it in a white size XL; and I love it. I usually wear a size XL so I ordered my regular size and I must say this skirt is true to size descriptions and fit. I am one who usually is not very fond of elastic waist skirts, but I needed a white skirt so I took a chance with this one and I am so glad I did because it is extremely well designed and well made. The waistband as best I can describe it is about 1.75"; the elastic portion is half of the width, and the other half is the drawstring portion. These 2 combined together really feels like it's actually very strong and sturdy. And, because it has a good quality elastic part as well as the draw string part in it's design, it easily stayed in place on my waist and did not roll down at all. The material is an excellent medium to thick weight so there is absolutely no see through at all in this unlined skirt. The material is a good quality blend of rayon, polyester, and elastane with some light stretch to it. This nice, very comfortable to wear skirt also does have side pockets. And finally; while this skirt is described as being a maxi length, however on me and I am 5'5" I would say it is more a midi length because it's length dropped to my mid calf area; and completing the look of this skirt are slits on the sides for easier walking, but the slits only rose perfectly to about 2" below my knees. I absolutely love this versatile wear, well made skirt. I can dress it up or I can dress it down depending on my top, accessories, shoes, and jewelry. It is a great skirt that I'm glad I got. Alright, this skirt itself isn't bad at all - the material is nice as is the price (currently just below $20). Material is a bit more thin than I expected, but actually you don't want it super thick for spring/summer (so that's no big deal to me). Where I caution you is the sizing as it seems to run large and that will matter here if you don't want to be swallowed. I ordered an XS (typically small) because I've learned items like this do run large, and I'm also short/petite (5'1", 115 pounds fit, 2-4). This XS isn't a bad size on me, but it fits like a larger small. Doesn't drag the floor, though, so that's a positive. I'm not going to wear this one outside my house because it looks odd on me with the waistline being so high up (and me being short). If you are taller, you may get the effect seen in the listing (longer, more sleek looking). It just kinda looks bulky/frumpy on me. But, super lightweight without feeling cheap, and feels nice on my skin. Read more
