These black and grey foot gloves are way thicker and warmer than I thought they would be. My little feetsies and little toes are nice and cozy coze. They are also quite breathable! I don't understand how these people do it, but I am pleasantly pleased with the workmanship put into these. I didn't realize when I clicked that little order button that they also come equipped with compression action. Whoa! I don't know if they are compressing anything down there, but I'll tell you what - my whole dang foot feels good even after going to the gym for the first time in two years. I'm getting swoll, but my feet aren't. And they don't sweat! Yeah baby! All these things are important to me, and they should be to you too. They bunch up a little at my heel, but I still believe I got the right size. Ain't nuthin' a little high heat dryer action can't fix, nah mean? Oh! One last deet worth noting - there is a LOT of threadage inside these suckers. It's kinda a hot mess in there. When I first slid them on, I felt an inside loop glide over my heel. These wool socks turned out to be a very successful purchase. They are dense and well-made, but at the same time they do not squeeze the foot or leave pressure marks, which is very important for everyday wear. The socks stay in place perfectly and do not slide down, even after long walks. They are warm and comfortable. Although I didn’t have a chance to test them in very low temperatures, they performed great at around 28°F. Even when worn with sneakers, my feet stayed warm, not to mention how comfortable they would be in boots. Love these wool socks! I wore them hiking in Costa Rica, and Southern California, they absorb moisture (sweat) and left my feet dry - no rubbing. They were also soft and incredibly comfortable to wear all day. I have washed them in both a washing machine and a sink while traveling, they handled both with no problems.
