I've had this pillow just a couple of days now but my neck and shoulder pain is already gone and I sleep so much better at night. Less tossing and turning and no more waking up with pain in my shoulder and neck. I gave up the infamous "MyPillows" after experiencing months of pain when waking up. I had both a firm and soft MyPillow and both would "deflate" at the neck and I would wake up with my neck crunched up and my opposite shoulder nearly touching my ear. With this new pillow that hasn't happened! I've been using the "firm" side but it's so nice and cradling it doesn't feel "firm." I can't put into words how pleasant this pillow is to use. I normally sleep on my side with my arm above my head (as if I am raising my hand in class) and I am still able to sleep that way but it is also just as comfortable to extend my arm out in front of me along the lower edge of the pillow. I tend to roll forward towards my stomach because I kick my knee out in front of me and either arm position is completely comfortable. I'm in love. I can't believe I waited so long to buy this. **Note: this is my first pillow shaped like this so I have no additional points of reference. Read more

I ordered this pillow in hopes it would relieve my daily morning neck pain as well as the need to stack so many pillows for neck support. It helped both of those problems. It took a few days for me to get used to the new shape and firmness of the pillow, but after that, I noticed that my neck was not hurting in the morning upon waking. The pillow was much shorter than my usual stack of pillows and it is just the right size to support the small of my neck, so I would say the thickness is just right. I chose the firm version of the pillow and I think I will order the soft one to compare. There was no chemical smell as I have had with other foam pillows. I ordered a satin pillowcase to go over it even though it has a removable washable cover. If you were going to put it inside a pillowcase, it requires a standard pillowcase. It cannot be packed down for travel, but it is small enough that it would work OK for car travel. I’ve been happy about my purchase. Read more

I received this pillow yesterday and slept on it last night. First impressions: It does have a floral chemical smell but I am airing it out today. I did sleep better on it. I am a side sleeper. I could see that a back sleeper would like it even more. The low side was too low for me but the high side was good. The high side is quite firm which I like. If you want a high but soft pillow, this will not work for you. So far, so good, if the smell goes away. With the coupon, it is certainly alot cheaper than buying an original Tempur-pedic neck pillow. It allegedly comes with a 100 day refund warranty from the manufacturer, but I will not take a chance and make sure I decide within Amazon's typical 30 day warranty. Read more

The first pillow was great and has helped my neck. I ordered a second one the guest room. Incredible support and it's a huge pillow, which I like. Both pillows arrived promptly and were very well packed and secure. The memory foam is very comfortable. I highly recommend. Read more

So I’ve had multiple types of pillows from memory foam wedges, the MyPillow, other types of shredded memory foam, down feathers, poly fill, standard cotton, and many others over the years. I didn’t have neck problems while using any of these, but I didn’t have a restless sleeper problem, who just can’t find her comfy spot. I’m primarily a stomach sleeper who tries to sleep on her back or side sometimes. This pillow is truly excellent for side sleepers. It’s a good quality foam, just firm and dense enough for adequate support. This pillow offers two curves for neck support, a small one (presumably for stomach sleeping) and a big one (presumably for side and back sleeping). The problem with stomach sleeping with the small curve is that your head will rest in the middle and partially along the big curve on the opposite side which raises my head too high and throws my spine out of alignment, making it both uncomfortable and painful. If I use the larger curve in a stomach sleeping position, again, my head is too high, and spine out of alignment and it thus causes both neck and back pain. Similarly, for back sleeping, the small curve offers no support and results in spinal misalignment. The large curve offers great neck support, but it’s almost too much because the small dip where the head should rest is inadequate- head still tips forward slightly- so neck pain. I like this pillow. I like the cost (~$37 at time of purchase for standard size), and I feel that the quality exceeds the price. I haven’t noticed any problems with off-gassing. It comes with a quality breathable pillow case (which I covered with my own). I keep my room at 67-70 degrees at all times and haven’t noticed any problems with excessive rigidity in this pillow. But after a one week trial, I will have to return it. I purchased this pillow because I was having some left lower neck and posterior left shoulder pain. I hold my tension in these areas and have had professional massages to help, but hoped that the pillow could be a game changer for me. Sadly, while this pillow is great for side sleeping, I only spend a small portion of my night on my side and need a pillow that can better support my head and neck through multiple positions. This pillow actually seemed to help my left and neck and shoulder pain, but I’m now having persistent lower neck and lower back pain right over my spine, which I wasn’t having before. I wasn’t wowed by MyPillow, but I think I might go back to the shredded or cut memory foam pillows because they’re more adjustable and more appropriate for my sleeping styles. Read more
