To customers considered Big and Tall / Big or Tall, keep looking - this is not the chair for you. If you are Tall, the lumbar support is going to cut directly into your spine around your L1 or L2 vertebrae depending on your height. This is suffering manifested. If you are Big, the chair base is in fact rather wide and does support the gluteus maximus, however the chair arms are neither long enough nor comfortable enough to consider use. If you are Big and Tall, you will consider returning the item with haste as it's painful to the spine, and poorly proportioned. Building the chair was simple and took ~25mins. While it claims to have 'comfy lumber support' I'd not recommend this to fellow Big and Tall folk as this will only exacerbate sciatica pain along with any other spinal injuries. If you have a Short and Stout family or friend, I would recommend this as it would correctly align with their spine as well as support their stoutness. It does hold the advertised weight, and while mostly made of plastic it seems to be sturdy [ Take this with a grain of salt, at the time of this review it's been in the house less than an hour]. Regarding appearance, the chair resembles the product shown. I'd wager someone would be rather happy with this chair and have many years of service out of it so long as they are a Short Stack or a Short King. TLDR: Big and Tall - No Order. Short and Stout - Yes Order! Read more
