Perfect for beginners

These markers are great for the price! They are good for beginners starting to color and have a good variety of colors! They do bleed through pages if the coloring book is thin. They are great quality and definitely do the job! Read more

Good quality and great color choices

The media could not be loaded. Just what we were looking for! We have been watching for a good alcohol marker set. This set has not disappointed at all. A great variety within the 60 color pack. My daughters and I appreciate the dual tip options, the case, and the sheet protecting page that's included so the markers don't bleed through to the next page. The markers dry quick enough so that we don't have smears and it doesn't jeopardize the boldness of each color. We were able to get these on a great deal so we bought two. We use them with our favorite coloring books and art creations. Read more

Good quality

Very nice markers. The case is good quality. They do bleed but they give you a plastic/silicone sheet to use under the sheet you're coloring. Vibrant. Easy to hold. Read more

Not for advanced techniques, but for quick casual fun with a lot of pretty colors to choose from!

I know I followed some affiliate link, but I honestly don't remember what or who. I am fairly new to alcohol markers because generally I've never been able to tolerate the strong smell! I loved my Sharpies, but eventually I had to give them away because they gave me headaches. I've tried a few generic brands of markers and a few name brands, but nothing like Copics or Prismacolor or other more "professional brands". I was going to use these mostly in marker-friendly coloring books, or to quickly fill in a coloring sheet faster than I could with colored pencils (which is actually my preferred coloring medium most of the time). Since I have very little experience in using alcohol markers at all, I wouldn't have even got the full value of a brand like Copics because they are basically beyond my current skill set. I wanted to get some Ohuhu markers, but once I could decide on which SET I wanted, it was either sold out, or had a sudden price jump that I didn't care to invest in. I liked pastel colors, but I wanted a lot of bright basic colors, especially a couple of decent reds which many bargain sets seem to lack. I also didn't want half my set to be grays, since I have no idea what to do with them. Anyway, some link led me to this set, and I'm been mostly happy with it. They come in a convenient case, that I just flip on the side to store (because markers are usually supposed to be stored on their sides, especially when they have dual ends). I like the color selection a lot. It gives me my nice red, some pretty pastel colors and colors that are good for skin tones, and even the selection of grays are more like muted tints of colors that seem to be popularly sold as "morandi colors". The markers are juicy without being leaky, and right now I haven't had or used them that much to be able to tell how much ink is actually in them. They are not without issues. For one, while they don't drag across the surface of any paper I've tried, they also tend to remain slightly streaky even when layered. That's a BIG fault I think considering the appeal of alcohol markers vs water-based markers is that both experienced users and newbies can get a nice smooth block of color even in large areas. It's not so egregious that I want to toss them out. I'm not going to use them for anything to be displayed, and give to anyone, so this is basically art only I will probably see. They don't blend as well as even some of the no-name markers I've gotten at places like 5-Below, and the small set of Ohuhu art markers I did get to try (the skinny alcohol ones), are far superior in how they perform. They may work on true marker paper, but I don't care that much, to be frank. I have to deal with whatever paper is in any one-sided coloring book, and I do have both a slightly toothed paper and a smooth, thicker paper I use for pdf printouts. Like most alcohol markers, these things will bleed through virtually any paper except some incredibly heavy cardstock (and depending on how many layers you use, this could still shadow). I've also noticed that the inks also do not dry as completely as it seems on certain paper. If you leave your page in the coloring book or sketch pad, there is still a chance of transfer or some weird yellowish "ghosting". I would leave the book open overnight to be sure. When you color, to protect either the page underneath or your desk or clipboard, use some sort of plastic, acrylic or vinyl sheet. The ink still bleeds to the back of the page, but whatever is underneath should be protected. You can buy premade pencil boards (called shitijiki--it's a Japanese stationery thing), but you can also try to find those clear, vinyl sheets that are sold as "cutting boards". You can also buy a smooth, plastic or vinyl placemat and cut those to size. I started to use these things to prevent indentation marks or ink transfer while using colored pencils in coloring books, and they are great for any kind of ink and even paint for added protection. Would I order these again? Honestly I don't know. I really want a certain set of Ohuhu or some other mid-priced brand, or even another bargain brand. There are a lot to choose from. They do have a stronger alcohol smell than some of the other markers I've tried, but no where near like Sharpie. I just don't try to work in a small room with no ventilation. Do I recommend these? If you aren't particular about the outcome, and just want nice colors to play around with, these are fine. They are supposed to be non-toxic (I still will recommend at least normal airflow in the room you work in), so they would be good for children who are past sticking random things they can choke on into their mouths. I think I got my money's worth. Maybe I'll post a picture later on. Read more

Vibrant, Smooth & Great for Coloring

These affordable alcohol markers are fantastic for art and coloring. The colors are rich, vibrant, and blend beautifully without leaving streaks. The ink flows smoothly and dries quickly, which makes coloring large areas easy and satisfying. I love that they’re comfortable to hold and easy to control, even during longer drawing sessions. They work great on coloring books and thick paper without fraying the tips. Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike. Highly recommend for anyone who loves to color or create art. I bought these because I like drawing and they were on discount at 15.00$ and when the came they’re 10 shades of grey witch taking a lot of colors since I bought these 60 pack and a marker melted a little and spilled on a couple other markers beside that it is a great product the markers work well and even the ones that are not supposed to be blended blended a little bit but if you are going to buy this and more expensive and cheaper ones from the brand just be cautious and maybe expect this Read more
