UPDATE: The customer service is EXCELLENT! We had some issues with the original backpack we purchased, but they reached out to us immediately to correct the situation. I’m pleased to hear they they were going to address the design flaws so that the next batch of backpacks wouldn’t have the same issues. They sent us a new backpack in perfect condition. I even requested that they send us a different style in order to avoid having to worry about the gems falling off later on. They sent us the style I requested with no questions asked. I’m VERY pleased with their service, & the new backpack we have is very similar to the style we ordered before, so my sister is happy too. Thank you guys SO much. I would order from them again! 😊 ________________________________ This backpack is adorable, but VERY poorly made. I’d been eyeing this for my little sister for over a year, & finally decided to get it for her this year. Let’s be clear, this is a very expensive backpack. For over $40, this backpack should hold up well. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for us. She’s only used it for 2 days, & it’s already falling apart. First a stone fell out, which was a total bummer since the bling really adds to the overall appearance of the backpack. Just as my sister was showing me the stone that had fallen out, the part of the backpack that connects the strap to the body of the bag (& also allows you to extend the size of the strap) came apart. I was shocked. My poor sister wanted to cry right then & there. Upon further inspection, I noticed that one of the straps has very loose threads that are holding everything together. The other side is much tighter & secure, so I know this isn’t how the threads are supposed to be. I had to tie them in knots to try & keep them from moving around. I shouldn’t have to do this. We’re both extremely disappointed. She was so proud of her new backpack, but now it just looks tacky. I’m bummed because everyone else seems to have had a great experience with their backpacks. So to be frank I mostly bought the bookbag for the little doll. But the doll broke off the bag the first week of her taking it to and from school. It was a bummer, but that’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars. If the doll would have survived longer then this bag would have gotten 5 stars. It’s definitely sturdy and durable. It’s almost Christmas and she got the bag in September for school and the bag itself is still going strong. It’s easy to wipe off and clean. I have not thrown it in the washing machine, I just use a soapy handtowel and let it air dry. The “red” bookbag is DEFINITELY more on the hot pink side (it’s most definitely not red). But the purple bags color is very nice. Would totally recommend buying the bag- just don’t buy it for the doll. RIP THE BABY DOLL. Read more
