I have an older cat with arthritis in her back. She loves to cuddle on the couch with me, but can no longer jump, & hates to be picked up. I saw these steps on sale & they had good reviews, so I ordered them. They were vacuum-packed & took about 2 days to expand. The foam is firm & the steps are well-made. I think they will last a long time. The cloth cover is removable & washable, & its texture provides some traction for going up & down the steps. I have hardwood floors, & the steps stay in place when my cat uses them. It didn’t take long for her to figure out the steps. I put her on the bottom steps & coaxed her up on the couch. She ascended them easily. At first she wouldn’t go down the steps & jumped off of the couch, but that didn’t last long. Now she’s up & down the steps many times/day. She’s happy, & so am I. Read more

Sorry for the long review but I really like the design of this product. 🙂 The package was so light that I thought the ramp wouldn't possibly be substantial enough to support my 40 LB dogs; however, it could easily support more weight. Though comprised of foam, it's somehow stable and comfortably firm. I would have thought it would be tipsy. It doesn't even slide out of place when the dogs hop on it. I also love that if I come around the corner of the bed or the couch in the middle of the night and run into the ramp that it won't hurt my foot. I can't imagine ever going back to the MDF or wood dog ramps. Favorite perk: it combines the benefits of a ramp with steps. Finding or building a ramp that isn't too steep or steps that aren't awkward for dogs to climb can be a feat. The rounded, sloped steps are brilliant. As an added bonus, it also creates a great reclining position while I'm sitting on the couch. 😉 Read more

My mom’s dog is well into his senior years, and like most, jumping up onto the bed or couch (if allowed) gets to be a challenge. From a human standpoint, it’s a very nice product. It seems stable enough for a dog his size (Jack Russel/beagle), and the incline matches our furniture well. Due to the incline and the relatively small size of her house, it does take up a bit more space than we would like, but it’s lightweight and easily moveable if it’s in the way. The color and fabric are also nice. It seems like the fabric is durable enough to handle a lot of foot traffic. From the dog’s perspective: he’s stubborn and very shy/scared about new things (comes with being a rescue from some…really not good things so we understand and try and work with him), so he REALLY hasn’t used it. He will occasionally use it as a stepping stone, but has not yet used it like stairs. That will come in time. —we hope. It’s pretty fair to say that our dog doesn’t like it, but there are very few things outside of mommy (not me), blankies, treats and tennis balls that he DOES like. Overall: Both my mom and I have faith that this product would work perfectly for a dog that isn’t as stubborn and leery of new things like ours is. Read more

The cushion doesn't give much. Our 75 pound dog was using them and they didn't squish down. The things I wish were different are they slide and are to steep. I had bought them for a Dachshund and she couldn't use them. She has arthritis. She tried to use them but couldn't. Other than them sliding they are very sturdy and the stability is good. They function as shown. They are easy to "assemble" . Just cut open the plastic wrap and watch them rise. They are almost completely the height they are supposed to be within 10 min but they grow about another inch and a half in about 72 hours. It does take about 48 to 72 hours to reach full height. I would recommend these to people with dogs that have longer legs, not Dachshund or Basset Hound. Read more

The inside of this is vacuum packed foam inside that soft grey material. When I first got this, I unrolled it from the vacuum packaging and it did not immediately expand the way you would expect a mattress or a bed-in-a-box. Instead, this takes 24-48 hours to fully expand, however it is very nice once expanded! Very soft, but firm material and my dachshund enjoys using this to get up to the couch & bed! Affordable option for pet ramps. I also HIGHLY recommend this one made of foam & soft material over a more expensive wooden ramp as I have LITERALLY broken toes on the wooden options. I opted for this one for my safety - and it is good! Color looks just like the picture & very stable. VERY easy to assemble. Read more

We have only had them for two days, but the dogs love them. They are much sturdier than I thought they would be. Would definitely buy again. Read more

Really great foam steps; they are gently sloped, easy for my little dog to go up and down. And the best part is that I got the 5-step 2-part steps, so we use the top 3 steps for the sofa (a lot nicer than using a couple of cushions that slid) and the base with the other two steps works well for her for the bed since she just hops up and down anyway, but this way she has a gentle landing and just proceeds to the floor! Highly recommend these wonderful steps, especially the 5-step adjustable! They are very well made, even though they cam extremely compressed, the package was small but not heavy, the packaging was very easy to open and they expanded quickly and easily. I just wish the adjustable steps had come in brown, but they are well-worth it as is in grey. Read more

These things are absolutely fabulous! My frenchie puppy figured them out right away, and now I don't have to pick him up every few seconds! So glad I got them! They inflated in less than 24 hours! They don't slip around on the floor either which is great! Read more
