I got this for my dog after she had doggie ACL surgery. She is highly anxious and refuses to use it to get on the couch. But, it's well made and sturdy, and our cat actually uses it as well. It can hold weight and I was so surprised when it came in a super air tight bag, but it expanded and works very well. It's soft yet strong enough for a dog, and the color is nice. Since our dogs are getting older their jumping ability declined. These steps make it super easy for them to join us on the couch. It comes in a thin vacuum sealed bag and when you open it, poof! It becomes stairs. Super easy. My dogs 9 and 13 pounds have no difficulties climbing up and down. It is slip resistant so they are able to climb up easily. I have Corgis - they love and learned quickly how to use it. It seems sturdy and well made. My only concern is that I wish I had ordered a darker color. I matched the color of my furniture and I feel a darker color would have been a better choice. Way more pros than cons on this well made Product that will keep my pups safer. It's crazy that as tightly, vacuum-sealed this was packed in the box, it opens to a really nice size. The fabric is super-soft, and the neutral color should fit in to any decor. I bought if for a cat I take care of when her parents travel, and unfortunately, she and I did not have enough time to decide if she likes it before my stay ended. I purchased it because sweet kitty was struggling a bit to jump up on a high bed. It is super-light and can be moved around with one hand.
