These ankle weights are really versatile! I like that I don't have to buy a traditional set of 2, 4, 6, 8 lbs bar bell weights that take up space. This system is compact and adjustable I am using the 2 lb weights for PT for my knee and do 2 lbs around my ankles for hip abductions so most of the weights are removed. I can also use 2 of the little black bags for a 2 lbs weight to stretch my hand from distal radial break sugary. The velcro is good and weights are comfortable. I have small wrists and ankle and they fit fine. They have lots of room if you have larger ankles. Read more

I got these weights to start out with wearing weight during exercise. These seemed to be the perfect pair to help me out. While it does go up to ten pounds, it is very difficult to put the weights pouches inside the pockets of each band. Also, some strings have come off the bands that interfere with the Velcro. They are still effective during workouts, but it would be nice to have all the weights in all the pouches to get maximum effect. I just haven’t been able to load all the pouches yet. I got these in black which is fine, and while not unpleasant, it does have a different smell. These accommodate being adjusted to my wrists and ankles well. Read more

Overall they do what they say they'll do...add weight(s) to your ankles to benefit your workout. Here are the Pro's and Con's I have experienced in my couple weeks of using the weights. I've used them 3-4 times a week in my workouts. I do 3.5 miles on the treadmill at 4.0 degrees incline at 4.0 mph. The Pro's: The ability to change the amount of weight as your endurance increases. The Con's: The fit is uncomfortable, unless you have really fat ankles. Even at the tightest setting, they're a bit big and rub your heels. And that's at a quick walk, not even running. So I can't imagine the chaffing that would be created if you ran in them. The actual weights seem to be of good quality, but the stitching is not as depicted in their advertisement, not a big deal, but just an observation. The method of taking the weights in and out of their compartment's is cumbersome at best. Overall the weights are ok and do the trick. But the company's description is misleading. I'll probably end up keeping them as the cost wasn't that bad. Overall I'd give them 2.5 stars out of 5. Read more
