I really like this design. it’s lightweight, has a soft pink color, and the built-in LED lights sit close to the skin for better effect. There are multiple light colors, each targeting different skin concerns. My favorite is the light blue light, which I use to help calm acne breakouts and reduce inflammation. UPDATE: I think that I was a little harsh on this mask...it works like it should and it is very comfortable compared to the hard plastic ones. For me, since there was no lights over the lip area, I purchased a more expensive model but this is a great alternative if you are on a budget and want a mask you can use at home, instead of expensive spa treatments. Let me say that I believe in red light therapy. I have an older small hand held unit that I have been using for a couple of years now and I would say it works to lesson my lip lines from when I used to smoked so, I figured I would buy one that covered my entire face. I read the reviews and it seemed to me that the Aphrona brand was very reputable out of those that I looked at, and since they offered a nice warranty, I purchased this unit. This model has a plastic covering over the lights to keep your skin from touching them, I did not care for the feeling of the plastic on my face, but I felt that is was somewhat comfortable, as comfortable as a plastic mask can be...and with some adjusting, it did not bother me to wear it for 20 minutes 4 times a week. I liked the fact that it had a remote power supply so I could walk around the house and do other things while I was wearing it. The power supply did seem a little hokey and at times, the usb cords would wiggle and have to be pressed in. Like other reviewers, I did have some issues with the eye pieces pressing against my eyes and causing indentations but I cannot see any way around this if you are going to use a product like this. I ended up returning it and purchasing the hard "Moonlight" mask type instead from the same company. I felt that the flexible mask did not have the brightness of my little hand held unit and that the lights were not as strong. My thoughts being, if the lights are not a bright, it will be less effective. Also, the mask had absolutely no bulbs over my lip area, and since that is one of my main concerns on my face, it had to go back. I am currently trying the hard mask. The downside is that it does not have a remote power source so it must be plugged into the wall, and there is no neck coverage. Also the lights are very bright since there are more LED bulbs in that mask, so eye protection is a must for me. That being said, I cannot walk around nor can I see anything when I wear the mask. I will do a review on the other mask, so far I have only worn it twice but it has bulbs over my lip area so, we will see. Read more

This Aphrona LED Light Therapy Mask is not well-fitting at all. The mask is almost flat, instead of being fitted to the face, unlike the top photos depict. The adjustable elastic band that goes around the head is cheaply made, in the wrong place, and does not stay put. The elastic itself is cheap and way too stretchy, which does not allow it to be tightened easily. It sits too far down on the back of the head, which caused the elastic to go down to my neck. I had to reposition it up on the crown of my head, so that it would stay on, but that is much too uncomfortable. They do give you eye protection, in the form of 1 large black satin eye mask, as well as, another smaller one. I wasn't sure of their reasoning, until noticing that the eye protection inside the mask is also ill-fitting, allowing the light to brightly shine into the eyes. I have a mask similar to this, made by NewKey, which has a much better fit overall, including the built in eye protection. I will not be using this mask, as it just does not fit properly, and the adjustable elastic is awful. There are much better masks at this price point. I would suggest finding one of those from a well-known brand that has good reviews. This one is not my favorite. Read more
