Aplenty General Tsos Chicken 22 Oz

Aplenty’s General Tso’s Chicken turned out to be much better than I expected (in general I find the quality of frozen chicken tenders to be questionable at best...). Look, it's not takeout, but the chicken pieces tasted like real, good-quality meat and the sauce was good balance of sweet, savory, and a little heat without being too spicy. Preparation was a cinch - I followed the air fryer instructions and then added the thawed sauce to the cooked chicken. It might have been a little too tasty - I meant to portion it out, but I ended up eating the whole box in one sitting. I'll definitely be trying other products from Aplenty in the near future. Quick, easy, and tasty! Entire meal from prep to plate, about 15 minutes. And cleanup was very manageable. This will be a repeat purchase, a monthly go-to. My method: Air fryer 400° for six minutes, shook basket, put back in for another three (9-12 mins are recommended). Poured the thawed sauce in a small wok (a frying pan would be fine) and warmed. Added the hot chicken to the wok and gave it a few trips around to get the sauce evenly distributed. Paired with: Annie Chun's microwavable sticky rice and fresh, steamed broccoli. Note about the sauce: It has some mild heat, but I like spice. So if spice isn't your thing, give it a taste before passing the point of no return. If I were to make this for someone who wasn't a fan of heat, I'd use only half of the provided GT sauce and add teriyaki. Or maybe use sweet and sour, instead. Enjoy! Read more

I bought this for my daughter and I to try. We like it alot. It's easy to prepare and versatile It's a cheaper price than our local Kroger store. I added white chicken to the dish as the chicken in this product as the chicken in this does taste a little plain. I do recomment it. Read more
