Good Bacon, but Pricey.
The bacon is delicious but pricey. I cook mine in the oven so it cooks evenly. Sorry I ate before taking a picture. I going to order two more packages to put in my freezer for later. Read more
Grilled
The low sodium is fantastic. The taste, the look (very important to me). Another crazy thing for me the size and weight is perfect. I don’t eat it as often as I used too. So buying a pound a lot would go bad. Delicious on grilled cheese. I’m looking forward to my first BLT with this TB. Read more
Makes a great BLT!
For some reason, summer is BLT time. I decided to try this turkey bacon and although it doesn't taste exactly like bacon, its good and makes a great BLT. I cooked up the entire package at once, then put it in the freezer in sandwich sized servings. Then I can pull it out and nuke for about 45 seconds it to go with eggs for breakfast or to make a BLT. Works out great. Have you ever done that with bacon and then when you went to retrieve it found it in a 1/2 dozen pieces? The solution is to keep it wrapped in paper towels inside your zip locked freezer bags. This, and not putting a bunch of heavy things on top of it, helps to keep it from breaking in the freezer. Works like a champ with this turkey bacon--haven't had a broken piece yet but then it's not quite as fragile as real bacon cooked crisp. It's a lot more expensive than real bacon, but its so much better for us and as long as it makes a good BLT I'm going to keep buying. Read more

Great taste and texture
I like that it is lower in sodium compared to regular bacon, cooks up easily and even extra crispy if you add a few drops of oil (olive oil). Good quality for the price. I have not gone back to regular bacon after eating Applegate's bacon. Vacuum seal and place in the fridge or freezer until you are ready to cook more. Great on sandwiches or in salads also.
