Aqonsie Solar Shed Light Outdoor Indoor 176LED Solar Powered Motion Sensor Pendant Light Daytime Available Solar Indoor Lights

We purchased the Aqonsie Solar Shed Light Outdoor Indoor 176LED Motion Sensor Pendant Light for our 10x12 outdoor shed. We installed the LED pendant light inside the shed and mounted the solar panel on the roof for full sun exposure. Installation was straightforward. Screws included for both panel and light, and it took about 20–30 minutes to install. No additional wiring is needed, other than the wire connecting the solar panel to the light inside. We secured this wire along the top of the shed roof with tape and zip ties, running it neatly from the outside solar panel to the interior light. The light is made of durable plastic with a stays put even in windy conditions. It is bright enough to fully illuminate the shed interior. Has five lighting modes plus remote that makes it easy to adjust brightness and functionality. It turns on immediately every time the doors open, even with daily use. The solar panel charges efficiently during the day, even on dim or stormy days, and the light holds its charge reliably. Just what I needed for our detached garage! There is ledge between it and the house so an underground wire was out of the question. Using solar was the perfect way to go, and this light cost far less than running a cable. The garage is 24x24 and the best place for the solar panel was on a corner, so the long cable was just the right length to allow me to mount it in the center of the garage. The whole install took less than an hour and is very straightforward. Simply mount the panel, drill a hole for the wire, Seal the wire hole with silicone caulk, mount the light, and connect the two. The light module is plastic and very light weight, so I used a single screw to attach it to the rafter, allowing me to swivel it for best coverage. All the necessary hardware is provided, and even includes drywall anchors for the screws and tie wraps for securing the wire. In operation, the motion detector responded when I got within 5 feet of the light. I larger detection radius would have been a little better, but is not an issue; I will Velcro the remote to the garage wall and use it as an on/off switch if necessary. However, if you were to drive a vehicle into the garage, the detection range is fine. The light is very bright. We rarely use this garage at night, and I'm sure it will be adequate for our needs. The unit is well designed and manufactured. The solar panel is encased in a metal frame and has an adjustable metal mounting bracket. The cable from the solar panel to the light has a keyed connector to prevent accidental miswiring and a secure waterproof connection. While light in weight, the light housing is well built and hold the LED panels securely. There are 4 adjustable LED panels as well as a fixed downward pointing 5th panel which allow you to direct the light where it is needed. The master on/off switch is mounted on the center panel and is waterproof. You can install this light in damp outdoor conditions without worrying about it shorting out. Also, the light runs on low voltage, so you don't have to worry about electrical shock. The Red ON/OFF Led on the controller will not come on .. yet the controller does seem to work anyway. How do Iknow thi s.. well after installing the light and the solar panel .. I went to use the controller and noticed it never seemed to turn ON its controller wand's Red LED, even with a brand new pait of AA batteries .. So I ordered a replacement a,d find that the new Controller behaves the same .. Read more

Love this light! I am a big fan of solar and this light doesn't disappoint! Super bright with a lot of modes for different types of lighting! The head can be adjusted if you need to tilt it, or hand straight up like I did. It's super easy to install and it had longer cord than I needed but we made due. The little solar panel collector gets sunlight everyday so I never have a dark night. The remote control is easy to use and pretty straight forward. I have had it for a while now on my front porch and it has not failed me yet. I would definitely recommend for the price! Read more

this is a great product .. I have purchased butters that were cheaper in the past and none were as reliable as this product .. .. the quality starts with the solar panels which are protected by aluminum metal along with a bracket for adjustability .. the solar panel is of decent size and not like those cheaper wimpy small ones .. the LEDs are nice and bright and the remote controls uses standard AAA batteries unlike some of the cheaper ones that use difficult to find coin type batteries .. simple to install and works on the first try .. just like many others here I'm sure that have forgotten to turn on the power switch which is located directly in the middle-so make sure you turn it on before you get off your ladder especially if you have it installed up high that way you don't have to get the ladder back out and climb up there to turn it on .. I recommend this product as it is a solid product in the box it is thoughtfully put together with amount of Styrofoam cushioning that will most likely bang around during transport .. .. in fact I like it so much on my buy some more down the line ...
