Works perfectly for what we needed. We had a corner of our kitchen with no lighting in early morning or late afternoon/evening. But no real way to add a light that required wires. This light works great. I have it set to automatically come on with motion in my entryway. Super easy to install just stick the magnet plate wherever you want the light. This also makes it easy to take down and charge. It does take a few hours to charge but it also lasts quite awhile even on the motion setting. It’s a bright little light. Read more

I originally peeled off the blue protective cover on the plate that I thought stuck to ceiling. I am so 'thick' sometimes...The blue plastic strip that covered the shiny metal piece, didn't stick. Got ready to hang with screws included. Thought about initial try removing thicker yellow strip without luck. Found an edge this time to peel cover off easily and attach to ceiling for 3 seconds as directed, stuck great. I had plugged light unit into charge w/the enclosed usb cord as it stated it could be low from sitting. Only needed about 1/2 hour and it was fully charged. It was red in beginning, turned green when fully charged. The usb line is short and plugs are far, other reason I was looking for a rechargeable light. How to recharge it? If plug won't come to light, have light move to plug! I'm able to remove the light due to the light being held by the magnet! Exactly what I've been seeking! No light above tub, no plugs near tub/shower. Needed light that didn't have to be hardwired but with some type of attachment that allowed for it to be plugged in and hidden from view. Good luck. Detachable Light on magnet and usb! That was the game changer. I jumped on it because it stuck to ceiling with magnet and reattached for charging w/usb cord, you'll need to supply box for usb. Once charged, according to description, can last several months, depending on how much you keep it on at a time. It's also got motion sensor you can set for evening, days or constantly and 30 minute timer. It's 7" by 7" thereabouts with the actual light being about 5x5 of those. The additional 2" is where the electrical parts are housed, remaining 5" houses led lights and where magnet attaches. This leaves a space between the ceiling and light where there is no magnetic power to hold entire length of light casing flush with ceiling. It's not a big deal at all, just noticed it because I was under it and to the back where you normally wouldn't have view at all. The light has 3 choices, yellow, natural and white (I thought it was bluish, nice) and can be dimmed or brightened with remote control. The last thing I realized was how important the remote can be when you are too short to reach the light itself. The remote does require 2 AAA batteries. I attached a piece of velcro to the remote to wall nearest where I enter. Wonderful! It's so small the only thing you'd think seeing the remote on wall is curious glances as to what it controls! Not having to try controlling something overhead is a GREAT thing! Just grab remote or control from wall! I'm extremely happy and so glad to have my bathroom back. I ordered the 2 pack of these lights to put one in a hallway closet and one above my mirror in my walk-in closet because the lighting in my walk-in closet was too far away from the mirror to give me adequate lighting when facing my mirror to see my outfit. These lights were super easy to install and the adhesive has fallen. You can adjust the brightness and set them to automatically come on when they sense movement so you don’t need to use the remote. I’ve had them installed 4 days now and they’re working great. What a blessing to have light where you need it and not the expense of paying for an electrician.
