AQUA CREST Replacement for Frigidaire Electrolux WF2CB PureSource2 FC100 NGFC 2000 9916 469916 469911 EWF2CBPA Refrigerator Water Filter

I purchased this for our Frigidaire refrigerator as the name brand has gone up in price too much. I was hesitant in purchasing a off-brand as the last off-brand I purchased what's defective. This filter fit exactly like the name brand, I pushed it in and it clicked and it is fully tight. I really can't tell the difference between this one and the one that came out of the refrigerator. The quality is excellent and the front part is very thick plastic that won't break when it clicks. Water purity is very good as I tested it after I ran water through it for about 5 minutes. There is no leakage at all as it is in fully. This is an excellent product and there is no reason to pay more money for the name brand. Although this is a minor, I like that it comes with month stickers so you can put it on the filter so you know how long it's been in the refrigerator rather than guessing when 6 months is up or defacing the front of the filter that faces out of the refrigerator. Cheaper than the brand name filter cartridge and even came with monthly sticker to remind me when I put it on and then need to replace. The fit was perfect. I did have to run quite a bit of water through it to clear out the small fines of carbon until the water ran clear. Read more

Worked on my 26 Cu Ft Frigidaire Fridge. No Leaks. For the price this is not bad. It fit into the same compartment but not as neatly or as solidly as the OEM. Their is slight differences that leave a slightly larger gap on the front frame and the the snap of it when pushed in and is locked by the clips is not as positive as with the OEM. In all honestly nothing that is overly noticeable unless you have them side by side to compare. The filtered water looks just as clear and tastes the same as it does with the OEM. I can say that this is not like an OEM Toner vs Third party Toner comparison. This product works and does not leave any mess behind and the price is extremely good. Read more

I purchased this water filter to replace my Frigidaire water filter in my refridge. It slipped right in and securely locked into place. No leaks either. I didn't send a water sample in to check how well it is filtering the water so it is anyone's guess if it is actually filtering the water. The water tastes like it did with the other filter so I guess it is working. The original filter lasted about 12 months before needing replacement. I will have to update the review when the filter needs replaced. Read more
