fit my filter house
works good with my separate bought filter house. I add an additional filter before my RO system that my RO sediment filter always blocked due to dirty water and has to replace 1 filter almost 1 to 2 months, which was suppose replace every 6 months, after with the additional filter layer with this filter, it has last quite a while (2.5 month already) and still have no blocked indication, and much cheaper. by the way, in case you need the information, the filter house I bought is: Hydronix HF2-10CLWH14, 10" Clear Housing with White Flat Cap For RO & Filtration Systems, 1/4" Ports Read more

WELL worth it.
I have a well and the wter softener never worked properly. It ran everyday for one hour; a lot of salted water in my septic and ground water. I eventually took out the softener and put in a dual filter system. I've tried several filters with the system but they didn't last long due to the amount of sediment. I tried Aquaboon because they were the next company on a long list. I put the filter in and let the water fun for 5 minutes as instructed. In that time the sulfer smell was gone and the waterhas a passible taste thought I will filter it further for bacteria with a UV light t make it safe. The filter lasted about three months, though the last two weeks it wasn't working so well. However, at the price six will last about a year or more for less than $20. Read more

Best pre-filter for our needs
We have low pressure water from a well with a great deal of sediment and 35 grain hard water mineral content. These grooved filters last between 30 - 50 days, fit well in our whole house filter housing, while protecting our water softener and water heater from excessive buildup . We've tried other filters but these grooved filters fit the best and last the longest for our conditions. Read more
