The media could not be loaded. I often carry Aquaphor around and put it on my lips when they are feeling dry. A little bit goes a long way, and one small tube seems to last forever. I have had the same tube in my bag for months and it barely looks like I have used it. It is very occlusive. It locks in moisture and creates a barrier that protects the skin underneath. For my lips especially, nothing else works as quickly or as effectively. When my lips feel cracked or sore, I will put a thin layer on at night and by morning they are so much more hydrated. I have tried a lot of lip balms and ointments that either sit on top and do nothing or soak in too quickly and leave me dry again an hour later. Aquaphor does both. It seals in the moisture but also helps heal at the same time. It is not a fancy product, but it works better than the trendy stuff I have spent way more money on. The texture is thick. It is easy to spread in a thin layer, but it does leave a greasy residue behind on the skin. It does take a long time for it to soak into the skin.
