Love this product; I use it on my tattoos for the weeks it takes for them to completely heal. I use it probably 4-5 times a day during the initial few days after getting new work done. Make sure to really RUB it into the skin, don't just slather it on to the piece. I tend to go a bit easier once it starts to peel, but even then, my tattoo is mostly done after about a week and a half. By done I mean it isn't peeling anymore and no scabbing is occurring; it mostly appears shiny and dryish (keep using the lotion even after that point). The last three tattoos I have gotten and used this strategy, I have experienced no scabbing whatsoever and my healing times were all quite fast. I still continue to use Aquaphor after it is done peeling, to help speed up the ink settling under my skin. I have suffered from chronic chapped lips for years, i can't count how many tubes of chapstick I own, but I can tell you what I have used for years (many different brands) never lasts more than 1-1/2 hours so I am constantly re-applying chapstick. I actually start to panic if I don't have a tube with me, because my lips BURN w/o moisturizer. I purchased Aquaphor ointment in a 1.75 oz tube and put it on this morning. My lips are still moist. Absolutely unbelievable! I just purchased the stick version because there are many 5 star reviews for that too. It will keep the tubes by my bed, desk and bathroom, and now I can carry the tubes with me in my purse. I don't write reviews often, but this is like a miracle for me. Read more

This stuff is amazing! I primarily use it for chap-stick before bedtime when I have dry lips. Works great with no fuss and I always wake up with my lips feeling better than when I went to bed. I haven't really tried in on much else, but can tell you that it works great for miscellaneous dryness. (eg. elbows & knuckles for me mostly) I've ordered multiple times over the last few years and have always been satisfied. Note: Just be careful when ordering that you get the Healing Ointment! The lip repair is not even in the same league and I actually didn't get any relief from that. Your mileage may vary, of course. Also note the SIZE of this bottle. It's not a problem for most, but the tube is actually quite large. Something to keep in mind. Read more
