Gorgeous light teal color, not nearly as blue as the photo shows. Very pretty and nice and warm. I wish the teeth on the zipper were metal (rather than plastic), but other than that, it's a very pretty sweater. And I put it on over a short sleeve shirt, and didn't really feel all that itchy to me. I could tell it was wool, as it wasn't as soft as the inside of the fleece sweatshirt I had been wearing earlier today, but I didn't expect it to be either... I own several sweaters of this type, love then all, but I have to say that this one is my favorite. The color is to die for, and the fit is perfect. I’m 5’8, 160#, and the medium fits like it custom made. If you are hesitant about the shipping from Ireland, don’t be; I received it in about a week, which beats a lot of online stores shipping times. The wool is not scratchy, and the knit pattern is close enough to appear elegant, as opposed to those ultra bulky cable knits that just end up looking sloppy, and the stand up collar is a nice touch (more elegance). I believe that you get what you pay for, so I was happy with the price. This is not a cheap, throwaway sweater, it is a sweater heirloom that will probably outlive me, moths willing. Read more
