This sweater is a work of art. It is warm and soft. The stitching is gorgeous. I can feel the hand made quality of it. All wool is itchy for me against bear skin, so I got this one with the hood (instead of the collar) because it leaves room around the neck. The zipper allows me to wear it a few different ways (collar up or down) and I love that versatility. I am 5'2, 140 lbs with size 36 D bust and it fits me great. There is a little extra room in the armpits, but not so baggy that it bothers me or feels too big. The arms come the perfect length. The fabric is stretchy, so this could be worn on top of a couple of layers as a jacket. This sweater goes over my hips, so it goes great with winter leggings, which I wear often. The hood is gorgeous on and does work - it's not just for decoration. The pockets fit my hands nicely. I have always wanted one of these sweaters and glad I finally got one! Beautiful, I expected the Tundra color to be more dark gray than any other tone based on the pictures, and was actually very happy to see that it looks like a lovely muted green, as that was the color I had been eying online from Aran Crafts (where is more expensive and they charge $35 fir shipping alone).. The sweater is warm, soft, cozy, and looks great. I haven't worn it much yet, and haven't washed it, but will store in a plastic zip bag when not using to keep it safe from moths and any other invisible fabric lovers. I had been looking for a warm sweater that also looks nice. I got way more than I bargained for with this sweater. The detail, the workmanship, the design, all of it is spectacular!! Wearable art. The sizing is correct. The arms are more generous than the picture would indicate. It also looks good unzipped. I would love to see more colors. As for the price, I feel I got good value for my money. Think of this, the sweater is the same cost as a coat, and not even a very expensive coat. Soft sweater. Beautiful craftsmanship. Fits excellent. Gorgeous patterns in the knit. Thank you for Quality piece. A new favorite. Good hood fit, sets on head with face shaded, Not a shallow hood. I don’t have a large head or big hair either, these Aspects might change hood fit. Texture on skin nice even though wool. Not scratchy like some. Warm but not smothering. I tried it on on a warmer day, as it arrived our weather was in 70’s F. I like the breath ability. Excited for Fall and Winter performance. This is my 9th Aran Craft sweater and I think my favorite. Heavy, warm and buttery soft, with a FULL thick hood. I love the side zip and nice thick pockets. The sleeves are adequately long. This does run a bit smaller than my original ones (some well over 20 years old) so I returned it for my regular large (12) size, fits like it was a special order. Spectacular quality as usual. I like loose fit. I tried M and large. Too snug. This allows me ability to layer clothing underneath. Comfortable. Doesn’t itch. I usually have a layer underneath. I’m pleased with pattern and design. It is warm. I wear daily. 5/5 i would again in another color. The material /knit around zipper tends to bunch up a little. I noticed this with other sizes I tried. There is an inner button to hold the inner panel . It would be a good idea to have 2 other inner buttons so material of inner panel does bunch up. Read more
