Great Messenger Tactical Bag

Michael DittusAugust 18, 2025

I like this bag a lot. It has a lot of room and a lot of pockets. This bad is very versatile. The one thing I wished this bag had was a D Ring Clip already sewed into the front of the bad. Plus it did have two straps in the front. For me they were useless so I just cut them off. But I’m very happy with this bag. Not too big or too small. Just the right size for me. This is a great bag to travel with as well for a carry on. It’s has very easy access. They are plenty of storage compartments. The price of the bag was really affordable. The zipper quality is excellent as well. I did not have Andy issues zipping up the bag. I would recommend this bag to anyone. I’am giving it a 5 Star review. But im also giving it a 9 Thumbs up because I wished it had a couple of D Rings already sewed onto the front of the bag. Read more

First Impressions

Texas GunsafeDecember 24, 2024

This bag got delivered today so understand these are my first impressions. Let's call this bag what it is: it's a MURSE, a man purse. If they made this out of leather or some pretty patterned fabric, a woman you love this bag but you make it in coyote brown of high-density 1000D nylon and add some molle webbing it magically becomes this manly tactical bag? No, I don't think so. So, if you're not questioning your masculinity, then this bag might be for you. With the disclaimer out of the way, this bag is nice. It looks, as the description states, sturdy but that is completely due to the high-density 1000D nylon used on the 'outside' of the bag. The inside is a completely different story. Inside the fabric is smooth, shiny and thin nylon. Under any kind of stress, no matter how little on the inside it looks like it will rip. The inside of the bag should have been made using the same high-density 1000D nylon, as a true tactical bag is. The ONLY inside organization is a large, flat pocket that would be good for nothing more than a small notebook, a small micro-fiber towel, a bandana and a charging cable. Anything else and the stuff inside will be moving around and more than likely rip the bag since it also is made out of smooth, shiny and thin nylon. Anything with any substantial thickness won't be a good home it in this pocket. The organization on the outside is slightly a different matter. First and foremost, the loop straps on the top of the front pocket as useless. These straps should have been on the bottom or below the front pocket. If you put anything there, it makes accessing the front pocket cumbersome. You can still do it if what you put there is a spool of paracord and long a the loops of the paracord is longer than how most people loop paracord and you don't have a ton of it, for example if you made the spool about an inch thick and whatever you put there shouldn't be heavy or stiff. I spooled about 40 or 50 feet of paracord with about a nine or 10 inch loop and I got it in there and it wasn't too bad but anything else, you're going have a hard time getting in that front pocket. The front pocket is just a pocket. There are no elastic pen or flashlight loops. Nowhere to put a knife so it doesn't shift. Just like the inside pocket, whatever you put in there needs to basically be flat and light but the good part is it's that high-density 1000D nylon both in the inner wall and outside so you could be at ease putting something like a knife in there if you wanted to and not worry about the pocket being ripped as long as whatever you put in there is by itself if you're worried that said item needs to be scratch-free, so grandad's pocket knife from WWII shouldn't go in there unless that's the only thing in there. The side slit pocket with the vertical zipper is a nice touch though. I put my Swiss Army Cybertool in there and a weird, flat screw driver I found in an auto parts store years ago that was made by Titan Tools. The pocket on the back of the bag is yet another huge useless pock in my opinion since whatever you put in there should be flat with no sharp edges since it's also lined with that smooth, shiny and thin nylon. A real 'tactical bag' would be lined with the 'loop' part of the hook and loop fabric so you could add a CCW holster, a magazine pouch or elastic loops that are backed with the 'hook' part of the hook and loop system. The molle loops on each side of the bag seem seem to be an an afterthought. The only molle gear you could put on there would be small pouches like a magazine pouch. That might be good enough for people but the side with the zippered pocket has molle on it too and I can't see anyone putting a molle accessory on that side but you could if you wanted to I guess. The vertical molle on the front right side is kind or limited to its functionality. I clipped a climber-rated carabiner on there and it lays flat but you could clip anything there that uses those cheap non-weight-bearing carabiners but that's really all I thing could go there. All in all, this bag fails the man-test on so many levels: Zero organization, screams man-purse and not even a way to hand carry it, You're only option is shoulder carry, which makes it scream as formally mentioned 'a man-purse'. One the pro-side, the main pocket is cavernous and will swallow just about anything you put in there. If all your gear is organized in smaller pouches or you want to carry bigger stuff in these, this bag is great but if you're like me and you have a lot of smaller stuff, you'll be digging around inside this bag looking for anything you need, hence the term 'man-purse'. I for one like more organization and don't like hunting for anything in my EDC bag, I want to know exactly where something is, grab it, do what I need it to do and put it back. So if you're like me, you have two choices, either look for a different bag or put all your gear in different colored organizer pouches. Read more

I love it, like most reviewers. Just the right size and built bullet proof.

Finally a well made product of just the right size to carry. Not too big, but big enough to carry all that is really necessary. Fabric and zippers are strong and well done, nothing coming apart here! Note: the carry strap while adjustable cannot be detached and the strap padding for the shoulder cannot be removed. Inside there is a very large pocket to store items. I would have liked a few more smaller pockets for organization, like for a cell phone. I use zipper fabric travel bags to organize my items. All around a winner especially at this price. Read more

Bit small. Was expecting more room.

JasonFebruary 2, 2023

Tad bit small. In the big compartment I can hold my laptop and a folder. That's it. The zipper inside is useless with those to things in there. The medium front pocket is just that, a pocket. Has no pen holders or organizers to keep things in place. The side pocket is small so maybe some change can go in there? The straps on the front are pointless. The buckles have no teeth on them so the straps just come undone with little to no effort. Material quality seems nice and zippers seem to glide with ease. Shoulder strap seems nice. Ill update in a few weeks after I've put it thru the test at work. So far now, 3 stars due to size, compartments and the straps being useless. Read more
