Highly recommend
Purchased these and another pair of hiking shoes for a 12 day trip to Iceland. These were by far my preferred shoes for the tough hikes, glacier hikes (with crampons), cave hikes, and whatever else Iceland had in store- walking through sideways rain, behind massive waterfalls and getting soaked. They’re truly waterproof. I hiked/climbed through some water while hiking in a gorge and my feet didn’t get wet. They are not super cushioned or soft inside but as I wore them more I appreciated this for being somewhat like a boot while still light and more flexible. Also appreciated that there is ample room in the toe area for downhill hikes. Love these shoes. On a style note, these don’t look like the typical trail shoes and are actually very aesthetically pleasing. More of a modern street shoe vibe and they visually elongate your legs. They are very sturdy and held up well during the trip. Super comfy with quality wool hiking socks. Read more
