ArcticShield Over The Boot Insulators for Hunting Fishing Outdoors

I would give these things 10 stars if I could! These are an ABSOLUTE must HAVE for hunting in cold weather!! I have Raynaud’s Syndrome and my fingers/hands and toes/feet stay cold due to intermittent lack of circulation and become blanched white and get so numb they burn like fire. These boots covers save my feet while hunting in 17 degree weather. ***Helpful hint*** open a large Hot Hands super warmer and throw one inside each of the boot covers and leave them in there until you get to your stand (don’t wear them while you’re walking to your spot cause it will tear them up). Then, after you put your boots inside the boot covers, slip the super warmer inside the boot covers and position them on top of your toes/feet. This is a game changer for people who can’t stand cold feet while they’re hunting!!!! I don’t ever go to the woods without them and they live in my hunting backpack!!! For reference, I am a woman that wears a size 9-10 boot and I got the Men’s size 8-9 and they fit perfectly over my hunting boots. These work kinda good, keeps the wind off. There is no insulation in them so if you're going to sit in a stand then put them on right away before your feet get cold. The hand warmer truck helps too. Read more

If wearing insulated rubber boots go 2 sizes up. Throw a hand warmer in these things and your feet will be toasty. The rut is cold this year in Wisconsin and my feet haven’t gotten cold yet. Read more

These made my morning sits in 15-20 degree weather much more bearable. My insulated boots and a good pair of wool socks do a good job if I stay moving but I more than doubled the amount of time my feet could stand the cold if I’m stationary. They went on easily and were pretty quiet to put on. They don’t weigh much. They are bulky though. If you are sitting on the ground and need to stand or move your feet they are kinda loud in leaves but they are made for stationary use and not made to walk in so I can’t really consider that a draw back. They do run small. I wear a size 12 and ordered one size bigger than the chart said I needed. They fit my insulated boots perfectly. For less than half the cost of a pair of insulated boots these are a great value. Well made as far as I can tell. I’ll update if they have an issue. Read more
