So, we are wondering if these were being stored in a warehouse that got flooded. The smell, even after washing them twice with vinegar, is horrendous, rendering them unusable . Amazon is sending us a replacement pair but unfortunately they likely won’t be here in time for what we need. It’s a shame because the fit was great. We expected more from Artix and Amazon. Update: we were able to use the stinky pair (aired them out for 5 days outside!) and they did a great job, both playing in the snow and for skiing.
