I had been shopping for a value in ski pants AND with a short inseam. I had already spent a lot of money on other needed items as I was planning on returning to the slopes after a more than 15 year absence. I found these in my search and I'm very happy I did. I just got back from skiing in New England (Feb. 2023) in weather that ranged from 15º down to 5º. With just one base layer between my skin and these ski pants, I was NEVER cold. Not even on the chair lifts. They are warm, waterproof and did the job as I had hoped they would. The criticism of the hook closures is warranted, as I did find it difficult to mate the two parts of the closure as other have noted. Beyond that, these are certainly up to the task of keeping you warm and dry in very cold conditions. I would argue, they may be too warm when outside temps are in the mid 30s and above, but without testing them in these temps, it's only speculation. The pockets, elastic cuffs, and overall styling coupled with a great price make these a winner in my book! Read more

I'm a big fella in MA. 6'1" 285lbs... 40x32... the 2x are perfect for my size. Fit great with room to spare. Belt holds them up nicely. Just got their forst test drive shoveling for 3 hrs. Was warm and dry the whole time. No base layer required. My only concern is durability. For the price, if they last 1 winter I'll be thrilled. The quality is there, they just have yet to be battle tested. So far would recommend! Read more

this product was a great value! For many years I've used a North Face ski pant and was very hesitant to purchase a new set of pants. I figured I would give it a chance and I'm so glad I did. First, the construction is amazing. The outer layer is thick and appears very durable and it also has a medium thickness inner layer that keeps you very warm! It has a very modern slim fit and is very easy to move around in. It runs slightly small around the waist, so I would order just one size up. (im a 34x34. The length was perfect, but I would have gone with a 35 maybe even a 36 for the waist if your planning on wearing layers under it) Read more

Got these pants in XL for my husband who is not a large man - 5'9" and 190 lbs. We live in Maine, with frigid sub-zero winter temperatures and cold Easterly winds. He wears them over a pair of sweat pants, with a pair of suspenders. They are loose, and a bit long for him - just the way he likes it. The zipper pant pockets are nice and deep, and easy to zipper up. There is an inside boot liner, and they keep his socks dry. He absolutely LOVES these ski pants, says there is ample room in the groin area, so he does not get all hot and constricted. They are a bit long for him, but he is kind of a small man - with a big personality !!! Read more

Poor quality. Interior stitching opened on first ski trip. No crashes or unusual activities performed while wearing the ski pants that could contribute to stitching opening. Read more

They were a bit big. We would have liked them to have pockets with zipper, no way to use it with a belt. The making was good, fell down and did not break, warm and water proof. Good, not wonderful. Read more
