I have worn these lashes on and off for years! I always go back to these. I get the style 853 and they are lightweight, band is easy to work with, and look amazing! I feel like these give off the look of hard band false lashes, but EASIER to work with, like invisible band, with it does have an invisible band. By the way, the band blends so seamlessly and honestly my favorite part about these is that, they give the same amount of drama a hard band lash would, however, I would totally recommend these to a beginner who wants to do more dramatic or glam looks and not struggle. I have been wearing the ardell 854 lashes EVERY DAY for almost 2 years now. Well it seems that ardell has changed the way that this product is made because they are of EXTREMELY poor quality now. I could get better quality lashes from the dollar store. In the past, these lashes would last me a whole month or 2 of daily use before I would change them because they lost their shape. I’ve NEVER had issues with the band. One pair even lasted me FOUR MONTHS of daily use. Now, the way that this product is made, these lashes will not even last me a week. Sometimes they break and are unusable as I take them out of the packaging. I am extremely upset and disappointed in Ardell. The first time I got these lashes of poorer quality was in August. When I went to take the lashes out of the packaging, they fell apart into multiple pieces. I did not even get to wear them once. Ever since then, I have been getting these poor quality lashes that do not last more than a week. Even when I buy them in the store, they are not like they used to be. There are 2 strips that hold the lashes against the band. The 2 strips begin to tear off of the lashes the second you take them out of the packaging. Once the strips have fallen off, the lashes break into multiple pieces. I attached a picture and a video of a pair that I had JUST taken out of the packaging. You can tell the 2 strips are already coming off. You can also tell they are of poor quality because the band is 2-3 times more wide than it used to be. I am very upset because I bought a pack of 4 and EVERY single pair, their band fell apart immediately after taking them out of the packaging. Even with a broken band, I still managed to wear each pair at least once, but none of them lasted to a second wear because they fell apart when I took them off. I've been wearing these lashes on a daily basis for nearly two years, so I'm not sure why it took me so long to write a review, but these are truly the best lashes I've found at this price point in the 10+ years I've worn lashes. I've worn cheap lashes, expensive lashes, had professionally applied lash extensions, learned how to apply my OWN lash extensions, tried magnetic lashes, the whole nine yards, and not a single style has been as consistently flattering as these. They're bold enough that they can do all of the work and allow for the rest of my makeup to be very subtle, but still natural enough that I constantly get asked by other women if they're real or not. I had a co-worker who has known me for years never once realize that I wore falsies every day until I mentioned it a few weeks ago (though he is a man, so that must be taken into consideration). I must say that I do apply my falsies under my natural lashes instead of over them and then use a lash curler once the adhesive is fully dry, which is 100% the most flattering and natural-looking way to wear falsies for me, so that's definitely a contributing factor. But I wear all of my lashes this way, and these are still the best falsies I've found. And with the right care, I can easily get them to last for WEEKS while applying them 5-7 days a week. Had my face done for a photo shoot and the artist on duty recommended and only used Ardell lashes. Easy to apply, to clean and, not to be gross, but, of a quality where they last a fairly long time. Higly recommend. 854 for formal occasions. Read more
