This floral rug is beautiful. With muted cool tones, and accents in cream and white, the color story of this rug is calm and feminine. The rug is very soft and plush feeling. It is relatively thick, but not the thickest rug I have ever felt. This lends flexibility for easy machine washing. The grip on the back of the rug is excellent and it stays in place well. My only point of contention with this rug is that the weave seperates when bent at certain angles, revealing a white under layer. As you can see in my photos, the areas that the rug was folded reveals white lines. These are somewhat easy to relax back into the original pattern by brushing the fabric the correct way. However, some of the fabric seems to want to settle this way, and it's somewhat easy to disturb when you walk on it. I got this rug for my bathroom, which has muted cool tones, and it adds beauty to the space. Overall, the rug is gorgeous. It's sized correctly, warming, and the coloration and print of the rug is saturated, clear and concise. This if a fine little rug. I ordered the animal dark green 2'x3'. It is thin enough so the front door opens over it, not into it. That it is machine washable means that people and dogs who track in slush and debris and foot prints aren't destroying an expensive rug: instead you get a nice rug look with a washable item that will be a good value even if worn out in a couple of years. My new puppy is having a problem deciding whether to chew it to unravel its threads or urinate on it, to give m an excuse to run it through the washing machine. I took the photos when it was not long out of its vacuum-sealed packaging. The unattractive white crease lines have decreased with some brushing and time, though are still are somewhat evident several hours later and after a few minutes of brushing.
