These boots are SUPER nice, but they run large. I usually wear a 9.5, and so I ordered a size 9.5 pair first. I discovered that they were WAY too big after walking around in them a bit. Happily, the return process via Amazon was pretty easy-peasy. They shipped the size 9 pair to me very quickly. The size 9 pair fits me well, and I LOVE them! I work a very active job on concrete floors, and these boots do a great job of protecting my feet and keeping me comfy. They look fantastic, and I would happily recommend them to anyone! Read more

Bought these for my 14 year old daughter as replacement for her old ones. Looked great out of the box. I had her try on and the left boot was extremely tough to get on. Took quite a few minutes of straining and pulling. Right boot went on with out issue. She said once on, that they fit just fine and were comfortable. I made her wear them around the house a couple days just to make sure she wanted to keep them. It's been a couple weeks and the problem boot is easier to get on, just breaking in period I guess. These boots have been through everything this past year, as I wore them at my own barn and worked at a youth summer camp. They withstood a wet sand arena for hours each day, miles of walking, and hours upon hours of riding. They have held up well. The outer sole is pretty much smooth now from wear but insole is still supportive and comfortable. Yes they are hot, they are leather boots, but they allow for much better air flow than any other pair I've owned. These boots also weigh about the same amount as a pair of running shoes. If you usually go between two different sizes with shoes, buy the bigger one as the heel is very tight. The pictures are true to color but the lower half will darken as you wear them. Ariat also sells a belt that matches these boots exactly so if you like your stuff to match it's an extra bonus. Read more
