Ariat Womens Desert Holly Western Cowboy Boot

I love my boots! Beautiful!!!! Bought for my wedding. My heels hurt after wearing them for an hour but that was an easy fix with an insert. They were a tiny bit narrow when i tried them on but that went away after wearing for a few hours. Color was great! I wear from size 5 to size 6.5. I got 6.5 just to be safe and they fit me fine with normal everyday socks. So if you are like me and wear different sizes just go with the larger size you wear. They were comfortable. My feet didnt hurt after my wedding after wearing them only an hour ish prior. I have tiny calves and they fit fine. Most boots look funny on me but these were great. If you have large calves, Id order the wider size. Average size calves may be a tiny bit snug in these. Im 5'1 125 lbs. Read more

The boots are beautiful. I am however disappointed that they were sent In a plain old brown shoe box. There was one peice of tissue paper poorly placed in there. I thought everything about this would be a lot better packaging included. Theres nothing visually appealing until you open the box. There's no information about the boots or brand with the boots either. This was a big deal gift for my daughter . I read reviews that say the boots run small, so I ordered them the next size up for my daughter which would be a 7. I am an 8 and they fit me great so now I am unsure if they'll even fit her. I love these boots ridiculous tons! They run small and I’m normally a size 8 but I ordered size 8 1/2 wide or 8.5 C. They fit perfect, comfortable and look beautiful! They do require a little breaking in and that’s normal for quality leather boots. They feel good until I’ve worn them in length but each time they fit comfortably a bit longer. Read more

I bought these twice. One time I got a half size up. Couldn’t get my foot in. Bought them again a size up from that and they still didn’t fit. I give up. I’m a size 8 and I’m not ordering a freaking size 10. Read more

I wasn’t sure. I’m pretty picky. I hadn’t bought new riding boots in 20 years. I loved my old boots. But it was time. I met these online. They caught my eye because of the brand reputation and stylish appearance. Ok, and we have the same first name, whatever. They were stiff when they got here. But who wouldn’t spending hours in a dark box in one position? They were stiff at first, but not too tight. The width was perfect but I do have narrow feet. They seemed like they might like rubbing on my ankle which made me nervous. Our first night out, we rode horses. They slid into the stirrups and held my feet and ankles in place like pros! They started loosing up after that. Have worn them several times a week since for longer periods of time. Because I can. We’re so comfortable together! Gorgeous boot! The 8 1/2 fit true to size, however I believe they run a tad narrow for Ariat's. I am really hoping that with a few wears they will fit like a glove. You can wear these with jean, or with dresses or skirts, I would be tempted to wear them with shorts, but I think with my age I might look like a fool. The red color is very robust and goes with everything! I love these boots, the only reason I gave them 4 stars is that they run narrow for Ariat's and were not offered in wides. The shaft came mid calf and is very flattering, and I love the rounded toe, it was somewhat pointy, but I think it dresses up the boot, as I think the square toes are UGLY! Read more
