These boots are so gorgeous and comfortable! I wore them to the rodeo and walked for 5 hours and my feet didn’t hurt. I didn’t even have to break them in or stretch them out. I did order a size larger for a better fit and they have great cushioning on the bottom. I wanted some knee high boots but my calves are too big. I am a newbie to wearing boots, but after trying on many different types of boots at a boot store, I decided to order these and give them a try. I wore them inside first to break them in and then eventually to a concert where I had to stand in the heat for many hours. Needless to say, they held up well and I didn't get any blisters. As far as the look and feel, all great. They have that leather smell, which I like, and a comfy interior feel. I did order them about a half size bigger, which I know you are not really suppose to do, but I knew that my feet swell when they are hot or if I walk around a lot and so it worked out perfectly for me. Yesterday I wore these for over twelve hours. They were that comfortable. I wore them w a tulle skirt, cashmere sweater topped off w a cowboy hat. Received so many compliments about my outfit that I felt compelled to write this review. I have had these boots for a while now. And wanted to make sure that I would be able to provide honest feed back. The boots are a little narrow. If you have a wide foot I would size up. Bought the same pair of boots in black too. Those were slightly wide on me. So I bought insoles for those. And they fit perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised that the boots both pair hit me in the right place, above my calf.
