I love these. I wore the lace-up Terrains for years in my job as an equine vet. I am barely doing any equine work professionally anymore, but I take care of my own nags and trim their feet myself. I have plenty of foot pain: ankle arthritis, peroneal tendinitis, and I need good arch support and cushion or I have plantar fasciitis flares. I also hate laces and want to be able to stick a boot on and GO. My old Ariat Cobalt paddock boots have been discontinued, and I tried on newer versions in a store and found the toe box too narrow. I ordered these hoping against hope, and I love them and live in them. There’s enough room for my gecko toes, and decent cushion - with room to replace the footbed or add a different one for more cushion. I sized a half size down in old Terrains (8s), but got these in my new, true post-baby size of 9.5. They took a little breaking in/getting used to around the Achilles, but not long.
