I have suffered with allergies my whole life, I have an air purifier in my bedroom, vacuum more often than most, replace my filters for my air conditioner with higher FPR ratings than most. So when I found these Hypoallergenic Pillows to replace my old run of the mill pillows I was thrilled. The pillows showed up in nice packaging, individually wrapped tight. These pillows are soft, comfortable for both side and back sleeping, breathable, and help keep me cool at night. They fluffed up nicely and there was absolutely no scent upon taking them out of their packaging. They provided a very pleasant sleeping experience from day one unlike my memory-foam pillows that off-gassed for weeks disrupting my sleep. Shipping was excellent, they recommend to fluff them up by hand or by low dryer, they were great, I didn't need the dryer. I really love how fluffy and soft these are, they kind of remind me of down pillows. However, I'm a side sleeper mainly and these have no neck support for that kind of position. They go flat as soon as your head hits them, but are still fluffy around your head. Softly sinks in. These would make great kids pillows or lounging around pillows, or for someone that is a stomach or back sleeper. They are higher quality pillows and I really do love them, but unfortunately they don't support my neck/shoulder enough. But I believe these would be really nice for an alternative to feather/down pillows. Wash warm or cool, dry low or eco. I wouldn't wash or dry them on higher heat because of the filling. I needed a pillow that wasn’t feather based and is hypoallergenic. This pillow was absolutely perfect. The thread count makes this such a comfortable pillow that when my head hits it it’s a slice of heaven. The pillow is the perfect firmness and never losses its shape. Cleaning the pillow is not a problem as I throw it in the washer on delicate with little fabric softener. A light tumble dry and I have a fresh smelling pillow for my head. The filling in these pillows is very soft and fluffy, and it bounces back to the original shape after a night of sleep. If you are a back sleeper, these are probably very comfortable. However, as a side sleeper, I found them to be too soft and woke up with an achy neck since there was not enough support to keep my cervical spin aligned. So, I added another thin, more supportive pillow underneath and that improved the result. The pillow covers are a good quality cotton and have a premium feel.
