It has 3 heat setting work perfectly, and whole unit feels very safe with the tip-over and overheat protection. it stays quiet and the thermostat keeps the room comfortable without wasting energy. I needed a little room-specific heating but am very sensitive to noise. Every electric space heater I’ve tried was an unhappy balance between those seemingly irreconcilable goals. This oil-filled radiant heater is the solution! No fan noise and no hissing or banging like a steam radiator. It won’t heat a room as quickly as a regular electric space heater but once it warms an area it will hold your desired temperature easily. A complete disappointment is the softest words I have for this heather. There is no temperature setup or even a scale that helps you get approximate settings. All regulations are based on your comfort. If you think it's not warm enough, you turn the knob to make it warmer, otherwise, you may turn it down or leave it alone. It's not reliable enough to keep it as an emergency backup in the case the main heather fails unexpectedly. I must go to a local store to look for something better. Read more
