I recently purchased this portable AC unit, and overall, I'm very impressed with its performance. Setting it up was a breeze—everything I needed was included right in the box, from the AC unit itself to the complete window kit. The instructions were clear and straightforward, making the installation process quick and easy. Once set up, the unit started cooling my room almost immediately. It's incredibly efficient at lowering the temperature, and I noticed a significant difference within minutes. Even on particularly hot days, it keeps the room wonderfully cool and comfortable. One thing to note is that the unit is a bit heavy. However, it comes with sturdy wheels, which makes moving it from room to room much easier than I anticipated. Unit cools well enough. Unit is quite loud. Upon shutting down unit, the Fan sounds like it's hitting something. Also, unit must be on Continuous Drain, unless yu want water on your floor! We have a small condo and the central air system was really old and not that functional, had to bought two of these portable conditioner and both worked well. Easily to move around in the house, the price is really good for the quality. Read more

Got this for this year summer, we don't want to turn on the central AC cause other rooms are empty. We got this portable just for our room. Easy to set up, it has a little noise, we love the noise cause it will cover some other noises so we won't wake up during the night. So far this thing runs pretty good no complain. I really liked that this comes with a nice adapter for windows. I have central air, but since heat rises, floor vents are not as good for cooling, so at night I often turn on some backup window units in two of my bedrooms. The compact size and ease on install make this an easy-to-use replacement that required little to adapt it. I had two dedicated outlets for my window units put in when I bought the house in 2005. This is quieter to use than the previous unit, has better remote control, much more cooling power, and best of all the dang birds can't build a nest on it in the early Spring like they do my window units. After having some of my yard workers help remove the window unit and take to the dump, I installed this myself in about an hour, most of the work was just unpacking the unit. It's more for conventional windows that open exotic types may require some modification, but standard windows that adapt to window AC units are easy, it's made for them. Quiet enough at night and you don't need as much power you can sleep peacefully. The cooling air can be directed upward so it will fall from the top as a gentle cooling breeze down to the floor. This cools the room better than most floor vents from central AC. A good replacement, it does take up some floor space, but is not too bad. Recommended. Read more

With the heat waves we have been experiencing in the south, our central ac couldn't keep up. Our living room, hallway, and foyer is two stories of open space that are terrible to heat or cool. My husband has medical issues and heat makes them worse so he wanted to upgrade to a larger central unit at a cost of tens of thousands of dollars. Instead I reccomended that we try a portable ac to supplement our main central ac units. Within hours our living room was feeling pleasant ans livable.
