It’s tough enough to hold up to daily chewing but still has a little flex so it’s not too hard on his teeth. The mint flavor is a nice touch too — his breath actually smells better after he plays with it. I’ve noticed less plaque on his teeth since he started using it, and he stays busy for a good while, which is a win for both of us. The texture and shape seem to keep him interested way longer than other toys we’ve tried. My dog is obsessed with this toy! He’s about 8 lbs and a Maltshi, and it’s easily his favorite. He gets so excited when he sees it and even starts doing all his tricks to get me to give it to him. It’s pretty durable too but it does flake a little over time, but nothing major. My dog isn’t the type to swallow pieces; he just lets them fall. The little bits that come off are pretty tiny, so depending on your dog, that might be something to watch out for if they tend to swallow things.
