This Arm & Hammer tartar control kit is a great all-in-one option for keeping your dog’s teeth clean, especially if you're just getting started with at-home dental care. It comes with a toothbrush, finger brush, and beef-flavored toothpaste that my dog actually tolerates, which is saying a lot. The toothbrush is a good size for medium to large dogs, and the fingerbrush is helpful for getting into those harder-to-reach spots or for puppies who aren’t used to brushing yet. The toothpaste has a mild scent and texture, and while I obviously didn’t taste it myself, my dog didn’t resist like she usually does with minty options. I noticed fresher breath within a few uses, and it’s great knowing we’re taking steps to reduce tartar and plaque without a stressful vet visit. Everything is easy to clean and seems durable so far. Overall, this is a solid kit that makes dog dental care feel way more manageable. If you’re new to brushing your pup’s teeth or just want a convenient, affordable routine, this set is a great place to start Read more

The Arm & Hammer for Pets Tartar Control Kit for Dogs is a great option for pet parents who want to keep their furry friend's teeth and gums healthy. The kit includes a 2.5oz tube of toothpaste, a dual-headed toothbrush, and a finger toothbrush. The toothpaste is made with baking soda, which helps to clean and deodorize teeth, while the toothbrush has soft bristles that are gentle on gums. The finger toothbrush is a great option for puppies or dogs who are not used to having their teeth brushed. I love the beef flavor and my dog tolerates it pretty good, really well, in fact. The peroxide gel stays on their teeth and has been breaking down my dogs tartar, giving us breath relief. The finger scrubber isnt very finger fitting friendly/adjustable and the brush is best for application, but may be for someone else. I do another finger scrubby that is finger adjustable and less abrasive that works great with this toothpaste. The smell lingers but it's way more attractive than what was, lol. Read more

This tartar control kit is an absolute game-changer for my dog’s dental care! The toothpaste has a pleasant banana-mint flavor that my pup actually enjoys, making brushing stress-free instead of a struggle. The kit includes both a toothbrush and a fingerbrush, which makes it easy to reach every corner of their mouth. After a few weeks of consistent use, I noticed significantly less plaque and tartar buildup, and my dog’s breath is fresher than ever. Both of my dogs don’t like this. It stinks and hardly smells minty. One of my dogs licked it and hated it. She made some facial expressions like it tasted nasty. My other dog ran off when she smelled it. They’ll pretty much eat almost anything, not this. I’m going to try something else, and see if I can find something they’ll think tastes good, that will actually help their breath. Thankful that it didn’t cost a lot and I’ll still use the finger brush and toothbrush if I don’t find anything else that will work. I read the directions and had one of my children put some of the toothpaste on their finger for the dogs to try. Only one of the dogs tried it, the other refused to come near us with it because she didn’t like the smell. We didn’t either. lol. Read more

my dog is 3 1/2, i had started noticing some yellowing of his back molars and wanted to do something about it before it became a problem. we had never brushed his teeth before, but he's a good boy and lets me do anything so he tolerates the brushing and enjoys the taste of the banana mint toothpaste. you brush but don't rinse so tooth paste has time to activate, for me i need to reapply toothpaste multiple times to get all teeth. noticed a MASSIVE reduction in plaque several days after first brushing. works great, highly recommend! this is a great tool for preventative care.
