i have tried SO many boosting scent products for our laundry (we have 3 teenagers and a 7yr old) and nothing has worked. the downey unstoppables, purex crystals, odoban, dollar tree generic scent boosters, etc. nothing has worked for us, all a waste of $$. i'm serious. but we have some gray tshirts specifically that are so bad smelling wash after wash that i literally decided to throw them out (i didnt want to, we love these shirts). but i happen to use this arm and hammer product on a load of laundry and i couldnt believe the strength of the scent. i thought "i have to try this on those gray shirts." sort of 1 final last ditch effort. so as these shirts lay in our "rag bin", i pulled them out and threw together 1 load of our most smelly clothes (mostly grays and darks)...and i COULD NOT BELIEVE it worked! arm and hammer saved our shirts. in fact i am wearing one of the shirts as i type this review and the smell is amazingly nice. i am telling you right now, if the arm & hammer doesn't work, nothing will. this product is the real deal and a MUCH better price than the downey unstoppables. thank you arm and hammer! 5 stars even though i wish i could give u 10! I enjoy a subtle scent to my clothes and many of the laundry detergent sheets simply do not have fragrance (even though they say they do!). I took a chance and bought this scent booster mainly because of the price. I had tried another, higher priced brand, and it did absolutely nothing to add scent. The instructions say to fill the cap with the beads and add to the washer before the laundry. I have found that using just the round inside cap area is enough for my somewhat small loads (there are only two of us in the house), but for a family size load, you may need more. Bottom line, I can wash my clothes, hang them up, and a week later wear something and I can still smell the scent. It's subtle, but smells fresh and clean which is just what I wanted. This works and smells great! My son works construction and many times his clothes just plain stink or smell dirt funky. After washing they do smell ok clean but this gives an added boost so you know they’re clean. And they remain smelling clean after hanging in the closet for 10 days, or just sitting in a drawer for 2 weeks. You can smell the clean from when you put the clothes on until you take them off. Wonderful smell for clean sheets night after night. If I’m downtown and it smells gross in the air, I put my nose by my sweatshirt sleeve to smell the clean smell. Great value for the money. I use a capful for a medium load at laundromat. Having used other brands in comparison this works just as well and is cheaper! I’ve used both the Fresh and Clean scents and I prefer the clean scent but both are nice! If they made a room spray or candle of these scents I’d buy it. This is my go to now! Read more
