I have pretty serious sensitivity from gum recession, but I can't stand most sensitive toothpastes, which for some reason tend to be bland, barely minty, and even a little off-tasting; it's like brushing my teeth with hand lotion or something. Arm and Hammer is different, though. It's got a strong, clean, intense peppermint flavor, almost like Altoids but without the sweetness. Plus, it's got a nice, gentle abrasiveness that gives my teeth a polished, smooth feeling but without irritating my sensitivity at all. On top of all that, it's very effective at managing my sensitivity. It can be hard to find in stores, so I'm glad to see that Amazon carries it. Read more

I love that Arm n Hammer brand has toothpaste for sensitive gums. I’ve been using it for years and do not plan on switching my toothpaste ever. The only downside is the cost So I always shop around for the best price because I think it’s worth the effort of doing so Read more

I've used A&H sensitive toothpaste for years, and my local stores are no longer stocking it, since COVID, so I'm delighted to find it here. Some of the bigger name-brand varieties of toothpaste for sensitive teeth leave my teeth feeling only somewhat clean, but because A&H contains baking soda, it scrubs well, but doesn't make my teeth hurt, either. LOVE this toothpaste! IMO it works better than the more expensive brands to reduce sensitivity in my teeth. The first few times you use it there is a salty taste, but you get used to it pretty quickly. I won’t use anything else. Especially now that I can order it as a “subscribe & save” item. Was reluctant to order because lots of reviews said they got the wrong product. Found out after researching, right on Arm and Hammer's site, that the packaging has changed, it's exactly the same stuff. I've included a photo to show what the previous packaging looks like. If you get that, it's ok. It's the same product. Anyway, I received all 12 in the new packaging. This is a great formulation for sensitive teeth and gums. The taste is light mint, and clean. My dentist recommended the product. I have sensitive gums but wanted to use a toothpaste with that keeps my teeth white. I drink coffee every morning. After using it for a few months I noted the difference. Love the flavor, and my teeth are whiter. Read more
