AROEVE Air Purifiers MK04 with 2 Filter 1 Basic Version 1 Pet Dander Version

I bought this because my family & pets all have allergies. I have had it several months and it still works great. I have changed the filter twice because of all the pet hair & dust. I have noticed that when the filter needing to be changed, it runs on yellow when first turned on even though I haven’t cooked anything. It did that a couple days before deciding to change the filter. Sure enough it worked normally after that. It is quiet on blue (normal), get louder on yellow and really loud when on red. The only time it runs on red is when I cook bacon or something greasy. For a long time it just ran on blue and wondered if it was really working. But when it ran on yellow the first time while cooking, I decided it was working. Changing the filter and seeing how much dust & cat hair was in it, I was very happy with it. I've had drywall work done in my bathroom over the last month. This little air purifier gets all that dust right out of the air quickly! It's great to watch it work. As the area is a dust- filled cloud, the purifier light turns to red (for unacceptable). Within very little run time for such a small/ unobtrusive unit, it brings the air quality to "caution", then back to clean& acceptable. I can visually tell it works as the drywall dust cloud dissipates without floating out into the rest of the house. By the time the air purifier reads "acceptable" again i no longer see/ smell dust in the air. I'm not sneezing/ coughing & neither are my dogs (!), as we're living in the house while this work is done . I rinsed the filter once, allowed it to dry thoroughly & replaced it. My house would get layers of dust in just days. Having two long haired dogs, that frequently dig in our backyard and rolla round in dirt. Our house is constantly dusty and dust is always in the air. Good looking unit, works well in a small enclosed bedroom. The filter is very easy to clean and change. It is a bit noisy at high speed for sleeping compared to more expensive units. Read more

I bought this for the basement office. It's musty down there but this has really helped my allergies. Never turns off even with sleeper mode on ... so that could be good or bad thing. Regardless, its quiet and breezy. Read more
